Its hard to tell if contacting my congressman helped or if it was just a coincidence. I would definately suggest contacting them. In my case they were very helpful and courteous. She said they sent a congressional query into my case to the USCIS. It is quite possible that they processed us when they got the congressional query.

Technically I am not past the posted processing times since they still say July 18th and our NOA1 is Aug 6th. I have written to my Congresswomen and they have filed a congressional inquiry into the case. They say we must wait 30 days for them to respond but so far I have not heard anything.

So how did you file the expedite request? Perhaps if more people do that they will make some changes
