Can someone help me I finally received a letter on June 19 that my case is being reviewed but that same day a minute later I received a second letter saying that my case was reaffirm and send back to the department of state for visa processing I would like to know if the scod letter is accurate and what does it mean

Can someone help me I received the same letter but I am a bit confused because on June 19 I received a letter from uscis saying that they are reviewing my case and then a minute later they send me another letter saying that my case was reaffirm and was sent to the department of state for visa processing what does this mean I don't understand if the second letter is accurate

I have been with him 3 years but been married to him for 1 year and yes I have been visiting him and still haven't heard anything can someone please help me this is not fair I know this girl that got married and her husband just went to marry her he never visited her and on the day of the interview she went by herself and she got her visa how is that and they are not a real couple for the fist time I have to say I am not proud to be asn American because I am not be treated like one

I called the embassy in the Dominican republic and I was told that our case was sent back on April. 20,2012 so now we probably got to wait another 6 months their oes our bab

No its not that believe me I call every week but they don't have anything on file they say that they haven't receive our case

Thank you so much I'll just keep gathering evidence until they send me a letter it just take so long something that suppose to be for a couple of months who knows how long it will take its been 8 months since the interview and nothing ky concern also is we want to have a child and my doctor had told me because of my age diabetes I would need to do invitro and that costs alot of money and my husband and me were both going to save up the money but now it probably won't happen because the more time passes the chances will be slim for me to conceive

Thank you for your comment but I was told that its not a good idea to withdral my petition and refile I just don't know what to do and to get a lawyer will be hard 1 because they charge to much and 2 they all have different opinions and I don't know who to believe I guess I just have to wait

Yes we were at the interview together some of the questions were when de had sex the night before was the light on or off who took a shower first if we used condoms,was their a TV if the TV was on or off the officer was very mean if I can have children which is ridiculous do we really have to have children to prove our marriage is real the name of my kids their ages

Amy I know that their is fraud but the consulates don't do their investigations correctly I know people that has gotten married for immigration purposes I went to the interview they wasn't ask much questions and under the consulars own noses they got away with it so this is why I'm upset because our marriage is very much real and they want to accuse of of fraud which is ridiculous

But that what it is they never looked at our evidence I ony have pictures with his family because my family haven't gone because of financial reasons but I'm going now in June with my daughter

And they never even bother to si for our evidence I said that I have close to 3000 calls but of course I'm not printing out all those call but it does shows that we speak everyday

I do have other evidence I have money receipts,we see each other on ovoo,pictures I have a 20,000 dollars life insurance wish my husband the benifiaciary I go 3 times a year to see him can't go more because of my job

I moved it here instead of IR-1/CR-1 Progress reports because other VJ members who have been through this particular Embassy may be able to offer some insight to the OP on what to do next in regards to immigration procedures.

At times I just feel like killing myself I always have suffer from depression and this is not helping thank god my husband is so calm and has alot of faith he has a way to talk to me all I want is to have him here by my side its so hard to have him so far not to long ago he was very sick and I was very upset because I couldnt be by his side

Yes we do admit that we got like 2 questions wrong but we are only human we do not have a memory chip in our brains and yes we took evidence which they didn't even bother to look at in phone calls alone we had close to 3 thousand calls a months because we speak to each other every 15 to 20 minutes and yes I'm 10 years older but that doesn't mean we arent a real couple I have seen people that get married falesely and they get approved like nothing its not fair
