  1. I believe there comes a time where you have to sit down together=lay the cards on the table and tell the guy exactly what you need to change-if he went through the process of counting you and getting you over there to the US he should also have the motivation to work this problem out. There will be many in life-big and small-you both need to be open enough and most important approachable to solve these kinds of problems together. If he's just too stubborn or close minded you may be heading toward an end. Best of luck!! Ask yourself--do you REALLY matter to him???

  2. Long distance relationships are anything but conventional and who knows this more than the consulate who faces a wide variety of situations within these kinds of relationships. By wearing the ring, you are just 1 in a crowd of those who do all they can to stay "connected" during your time apart and likely strengthening your case in the eyes of an experienced immigration officer.

My fiancee wears mine (engraved) on her necklace-and (lol) occupationally uses my brand of body spray to feel connected-it's in all shapes and sizes and it's all about love-what they are after is just that-seeing 2 people truly in love. Good luck to you-good luck to me too..

  3. Hey guys,

I proposed "officially" this weekend whilst on vacation and out of the blue, my fiancée slipped a ring on my finger as well!

I thought it was a lovely idea since well be apart.

However, I know that engagement rings for guys are fairly uncommon, so should I wear it to the interview/medical? Are they going to assume its a wedding ring?

I don't want to go without it, and in many ways I think it looks worse trying to 'hide' it, but I'm not sure what I should do.

    Thanks!
