  1. Hello all, I am getting worried no respond from the Djibouti Consular in regards instruction what to do next after 601 and 212 waivers have been approved. I have emailed and called no one is answering. How long does it usually take for these consular to respond that they have received the notice of action from NVC. Any help will be appreciated. The approvals were on March 2 2016 and notice of action was received by me on March 5 2106. Who else can I contact?

  2. Hi friends, my husband has finally been approved for his 601 and 212. :dancing::dancing::dancing: I want to thank all in here who helped me and I would do the same for anyone who needs help too. I just received the 797 of action and was wondering should my husband make his interview to the consulate of where he was told to file his 601 and 212 or will they make the interview for him once they receive his papers? The consular is in Djibouti. Thanks for any info.

  3. Salam friends, I just want u all to know that the best place to transfer is to Djibouti. My husband got an interview date and he was only there for 3 weeks and one of my friends father just went there few days ago n he got an interview, Don't trouble yourselves over Cairo or Algeria. The fastest process has been Djibouti. First you request an expedite from NVC then from Yemen embassy to transfer it to Djibouti. After 2 weeks a letter is emailed to u n request has been transferred to Djibouti. Good Luck all.

  5. Hi friends, I am waiting for an interview for my husband to be scheduled in Sanaa Yemen. Due to the situation that is happening there, the NVC told me I have to wait for the interview to be made. Is there anything I can do to have his papers sent to another country? I asked if it can be sent to another country near by but they said I still have to wait. What can I do? My husband's safety is my concern right now and I don't know what to do. Your help is always is appreciated.

  6. Hello friends, I need your help. My case has reached to NVC and waiting for an interview from Yemen Embassy. As you all know the embassy in Sanaa Yemen has closed, due to the situations happening there. In this case what happens to my husbands case. All he needs is the interview and then I can file a waiver and that would be it. But what do I do now that the embassy is closed? I can't stop worrying about the delay and who should I talk to next. I spoke with the NVC and they said I would have to wait until the embassy reopens but in this case it would a while. All I want is my husband back. Please HELP!

  7. Hi friends, I would like to know if my husband can't submit his DS 260 because there is no internet where he is, Can I submit it from here in the US for him or would he get in trouble. Its electronic signing and he has to print everything. I helped fill out the whole thing with him but it says that even though he was helped he has to do it himself. And I already submitted his AOS but should I submit his IV package or the DS 260 first then send those documents for the IV package later. Can I also send his passport picture for the IV package by email or would they want it by mail? Thank you all for your help.

    DS-3032* entered into NVC System

    Immigrant Visa Bill Generated.

    Agent receives the IV Bill.

Agent sends back the IV Bill payment.

IV Bill entered into NVC System.

    DS-230 package generated.

  10. Hi all its me again, It has been almost 2 years since I have filed for the I 130 Petition. My husband was deported in May of 2012 for overstaying in the U.S. but still no response. I have had alot of info pass appointments and wrote letters to supervisors but still no response. I don't know what to do? Everytime I contact someone they would say it is still pending. The petition was sent back 2 months later after filing it on December 12, 2011 to Detroit office. Then I had an interview with an officer on October 2, 2012 and gave them all the info they needed and was told that I will be contacted soon. How long does the petition last for approval or does it expire and that would mean I have to file another one. PLZZZZZZZZZZ Help.

  11. Hi all, its been 1 year and 5 months since I have applied for the I 130 and its been about 7 months since I went to an interview and the officer approved it but said it would go to another officer to be approved. I have done visiting and calling and I get the same answer and that is it is still pending. It has not left Detroit yet. Help what should I do?

  12. Hello I was reading your post and wondering was your request for the I 130 for Husband/wife that was deported. Because I am still waiting for response for the I 130. I had an interview to prove that my husband and I got married for marriage not for papers. But I haven't heard anything since October 2012 and I have been to the center in Detroit and called many times, contacted Carl Leven office but still no response. What shall I do? Your help is appreciated. Thank you.

  13. How do I find out what was his ban time? I had a lawyer back then but didn't do much for me just collected money. My interview was to prove he was my husband for the I 130. The officer said I approve you but it has to go to someone else to give finally approval. Then I waited for the 120 days that they said to wait and then I get an email that it is still here in detroit. My heart says he has the upto 10yr ban but not sure. He over stayed over 19yrs and he entered legally into the U.S. I am trying to do everything by myself because I can't afford a lawyer. What do you think of my chances are doing it by myself. I already have the waiver stuff ready. By the way thank you for responding.

  14. Hi friends. I just got an email that said my case was transfered on January 20, 2012 to National Benfefit Center. I filed for an I130 back in Dec 2011. My husband was here unlawfully and was deported in May of 2012. I had my interview here at the immigration center in detroit on October 2 2012. The officer said he approved it but now it has to go some where else to get approved. What does this mean when they send you to the National Benefit Center? I am really scared that he is being denied. What should I do now? Every time I called for a status they would say call the National Visa Center in California and then they said email them and now I was sent an email stating that it was sent to NBC. HELP!!! How do I find the status on this case? Whom should I call? Thanks for your time.

  15. Hi all just want to know when I 130 is approved what should I do next. I heard a waiver for deporties must be filed in a lock box in the US. Is that true? What things do I need for the waiver to file and what type of waiver do I file if my husband overstayed 19yrs after he was sent a letter of deportation? (That he didn't recieve in the mail) His lawyer messed up a long time ago and now they say it's his fault. Your help is appreciated.

  16. Naha, why was he deported? That is usually a serious issue that can affect approval of your visa application. I would assume you've already sought legal counsel... Also, from my understanding although California SC is faster than some of the others, your beneficiary is from Yemen. As is mine. It's not abnormal for them to take longer to process their review. Not just because it's a "T" country, but also because the local partners/agencies they rely on to run background information don't have electricity most of the time these days. Yemen is going through a lot of turmoil so you shouldn't be surprised. But you can always try calling USCIS for an update. I've found that they are fairly helpful by phone.

Thank you for your time. I am going through alot right now and hope it will get better.

  17. Hello all, I need your help I posted way back in April that I have a husband who will be deported to Yemen. As of now he was deported in May to yemen and I am still waiting for the I-130 Petition to get approved. When I check for status it says that its under initial review, but it has been already 8 months since then. The time for I-130 is usually 5 months from California. I called for the status and it still gives me the same information. What should I do next? Help is appreciated. Thank you. :(

  18. Thanks for the info. My husband entered in the US in 1992 legally then applied for asylum and was denied in 1997 failed to go to court due to his lawyer never sending him his denial case and was odered to deport in 1998. Then waited for an appeal to be done by his lawyer but he never appealed it and said my husband failed to come to court so he over stayed his deportation by 14 years. No criminal or felony background and has been filing taxes since he has been here for the past 20yrs and has a child from previous marriage. Do you think it will take 10yrs for him to come back or will he have a chance coming back in 2 to 3 years with hardship. Right now I am waiting for I130 to get approved and its been since december. Please tell me the truth will it be a long wait for him. We just got married in 2010. Tell me what will happen next after the I130 and what papers will I need to be ready with. I am leaving to visit him in Yemen soon. What can I do there and what do I need him to take care of before I come back to the US.
