Hello! We have VERY similar timelines. Just wondering if you called DOS to find out that Montreal received your case? I'm in exactly the same boat. The NVC sent my petition to Montreal on June 15.

I sent an e-mail to MTL back on June 15 asking if they had receieved our case from NVC. I got a reply back last night. They said my packet 3 was sent out June 27 and they gave me a link to the packet 3 forms online. It was the April 2012 version.

My packet was received by MTL on July 4. Expecting an email containing packet 4 shortly!

I won't be until August 16th. 20 days left! Lots to do!

Plan to do POE through Newark, New Jersey.

No DHL Waybill # yet...

I wonder how long it will take them to send out the passports? My guess is that they'll be sending them as a bunch with the July 24th interview approval people...after they get them all printed of course. I just want it in my handddd! haha

Ok, I guess I should do the same thing then. I was going to send via Xpresspost but noticed the 'courier reference ID' on the bottom of the packet 3 checklist. So, I guess I will register for DHL in order not to leave that blank on the list.

We got our NOA2 yesterday, got the NOA1 January 26th....So, even better news: I think yours will show up early next week!

Another quick question for you. Did you glue/staple your 2 inch x 2 inch pictures to your submitted Packet 3 forms?

From what I've read, this is a date that is used as a 'this case should be approved by THIS date'. It seems like its more of a deadline for the visa system in general. Kinda like the 5 month estimate made by the USCIS in the beginning to have your approval back by a certain month. I truly think you'll be fine. The consulate can extend the date if need be until your case is compl...

Go get your passport and stuff updated if it's going to expire soon and make sure you get a copy of your long term birth certificate. You'll need that for the interview.

Hey! I actually picked my passport and my "brown mysterious envelope" up from Loomis on Friday. I didn't get a waybill # until the night before Loomis called me to come get it. The # was never on the CSC site...I got an email from Loomis themselves saying that they had the package from the Consulate and that it was on it's way. The waybill # was listed on that email as well.

The earliest interview appointment available was only 17 days away. I am going to Momtreal this Thursday for the medical on Friday and heading back to Montreal again for the interview on the 23rd! Hi 3-4D! Just wondering if you ever received Packet 3 in the mail? I didn't wait. Once I heard from DOS that Montreal had sent out packet 3, I went ahead and filled out all the forms. They should recieve my packet today.
