If it wouldnt open on ur computer i would try it in another computer...or try to upload from the internet with that version of Adobe X.

You can file and have a co-sponsor..it shouldn't be apro lem...co-sponsors are people who can show income and add to yours for Affidavit of Support...make sure u have their income tax returns as well..then it shouldn't be a problem...good luck..i petitioned my husband and had my parents as co-sponsors..

Good luck way to go!

best thing to do is ask for sponsors..if not do u have parents in the US. who have lived for a long time who can submit copies of tax returns. ? your sponsoring friends will in the end have his ssn and personal information included no matter what because he would also give u a copy of tax returns which is included in tax returns for affidavit of support, your husband will need to his interview the copies...
Hello Friends
I have an urgent question. My husband was interviewed in Islamabad embassy and was asked to resubmit the affidavit of support because it did not meet the minimum income. I have prepared a new affidavit of support and want to send it to Islamabad Embassy. The issue is I want to send it directly to the Embassy from New York. I do not want to send it to my husband first and than use Amex Courier service. I do know they are reliable however the co-suponcer does not want his personal information such as Social Security number to be exposed. So please guide me what can i do. I tried emaling the embassy at pakivinfo@state.gov and it did not go through. A quick reply would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You so so much...

just write to the IRS what exactly you are need..they understand..just inform them that its for affidavit of support for your fiance's petition to get to the United states which is needed to process the K-1 visa. have your mom in the affidavit of support as well, most esp. if you are living under her roof. its good you have the letter from your recent employer..
in the end what matters most is your mom's name on the affidavit of support. they will need proof of that soon, make sure she has Income taxes papers copies ready soon.
Best of Luck
Hi guys,
How do I get a letter from the IRS stating that I wasn't required to file income taxes because I didn't worked before (student)? I am going through the K-1 Visa process and I need a letter from the IRS to explain to the consulate why I wasn't legally required to file income taxes because I've never worked.
I AM currently working, but I only started like 3 months ago. In the past my mom has always put me in her income tax as a dependent.
My fiancee's interview is coming soon, would I be able to get the letter within 25 days from today? I really need it before June 22.
The letter is part of the affidavit. Since they require a copy of previous income taxes. I haven't filed any income taxes because I've never worked (I was a student). I will provide my current employer letter on how much I earn, my position, when I started, etc. Plus copy of bank statements, recent pay stubs, etc etc. But I need that letter, to show the consulate I didn't had to filed income taxs because I didn't had a source of income (never worked before).
Any help? Do I just contact the IRS? What do I tell them, like what do I ask for? Sure, a letter describing the following, but how exactly?
Thanks. I hope somebody with experience could answer my question.
make sure, the affidavit of support meets the income restrictions as well.

same situation as u, i petition my hubby..i am a USCtzn. he is now Permanent resident.. try to change have a name change right away, ur passprt, driver's lisc., etc. juz show the marriage cert. its important thaose u do because he will need a copy of that in his interview.make sure he gets a CENOMAR (certificate of no Marriage)and NBI clearance etc.you will both need that soon in processing papers.
I get to add my parents in his affidavit of support as I begged them to help me. we did our processing in the US.
after college, i went back in US. and petitioned him right away, living with my parents and they even decided restrict me to end the petition for him,. they changed their mind, i've proved got working 2jobs and was the one who payed for all paper processing.
2009 he got to the US. PAPER PROCESSING FOR CR1/CR2 was 1 1/2 yr..when he got here after 1 year of living w/parents kicked us out..hubby finally got a job after 3months of living here in US. and finally we moved into our own apartment, he pays for all bills, he pays for his own car, i don't have a car.. i lost my job few years ago n just started a new part time..I'm so proud of him..He received his GREENCARD after 1year application...and now we are in the process to get his daughter here in the US. also.
Good luck to you..everything will be ok, just make sure you turn in the papers on time.

grace, do u think i should wait to petition my daughter until i am a US. citzn?...i am a Permanent resdnt now. t.y.
-
yes, we are going to soon
Then go visit her in the Phil.
-
thanks, but we wish to spend time with her since i haven't been with daughter since she was born.
If the father send the US dollars to the mother she can give their daughter the same life in the Phil that he thinks his daughter could only get in the US.
-
Thank you..i am hoping that is the case.
Hi!
I feel your longings to be with your daughter. The way I understand it since she's not using your family name as a father, you better talk to a lawyer, particularly a family lawyer in the Philippines of what
steps you can do to give a good US life to her.I am hoping your name appeared in her birth certificate as a father.Usually written at the back of the birth certificate.
Better let your mother handle the lawyer thing so you will know what to do.
Good luck!

apologize, i am a newbie, i'm still trying to figure this out.

Thank you.
Your status as a US LPR doesn't give you any rights in the Phil, no more than the rights that you have as a Phil citizen. This is something you and your daughters mother have to work out.
Thank you

My husband is a Permanent Resident now in the U.S. from the Philippines and I as a US. Citzn was the one who petitioned him. We are now living in the US. together. Husband has a child from previous relationship many years before we were married. They were never married so the child is illegitimate. The thing is, husband thought he was too young to be a father before and ran away from responsibility and left the unwed mother of the child. The mother Hid the kid for many years leaving my husband without any contact with his daughter for many years.
Now, husband is still trying to have contact with this child and have custody. When the child was born, child did not carry the last name of the father when child was Born ,we knew that from his daughter's school info.
The child is living in the Philippines with the mother. My Husband would like to petition his daughter here in the US. What can we do? the only contact we'd have are news from our family members/friends in the Philippines about his daughter. And the only contact is by my mother in-law and sister in-law visiting the child in their school but the STEP-father's request is to have distance from the child and not allow communication. Although school principal have tried to communicate with the mother, as mentioned, the mother still doesn't allow contact with us.
I had communicated with the child's mother's sister because she friended me on facebook and be-friended me after on Facebook.
Husband works hard in the US. and tries to send financial support AND package with daughter's school stuff and some money)but the mother's sister(who be-friended me on Facebook) just got mad when she found out from the principal that we are sending packages for the child SHE then be-friended me on facebook saying that my husband is still a bad father and should just accept throughout his life that he abandoned his child long time ago so he will never have right with his daughter at all and saying that we should just give to the orphanage all the stuff we want to give his daughter.
How can we go about this process? We are also careful with this process because we don't want to spend Money on a lawyer here in the US. BUT we really want her here. Where do we start to Petition his daughter? will an evidence of a DNA test proof help? Please help my husband have right to his daughter he'd never have contact with for 10 years. I hate seeing him crushed and sad everytime he mentions his daughter. Any advice or help would be appreciated.
do i need to change my name in all my id's,passport, greencard to my married name?
