Our Noa 2 is dated Feb 7, and NVC doesn't even have our case. hoping we get our case # nxt week. When you email them, what did you tell them in your email?

I was approved on 2/13/2013 and also have no case #. NVC has not even received my file yet. In fact, no one can even tell me where my file is.

I'm preparing to make a congressional inquiry in order to locate my file.

we have the same approval date , call them again like every other day.... i know it will come

Ours was approved February 4th, I logged onto USCIS using our application number and I noticed that the (Expect a 30-45 day delay on applications getting to NVC) message on top was taken off, I was hopeful today was the day.

After the 4th I waited about one week and a half to call (seeing that they got hammered by a snow storm) they said give us 10-20 days, then I called a week later and they said a week maximum, now today I called and I got the case number. I really don't suggest harassing them everyday until they say (a week or so). If they say 10-20 days they probably aren't lying to you on a bit of a wait. People calling needlessly is probably why we wait 30 minutes just to get through aside from the number of applications.

Anywho good luck to everyone, I'm sure we will all get our case numbers soon.

i tolly agree.. i stopped calling for a while.. my fiance called back after 2days, and we got our case number exactly 2 weeks

Congrats. Approved February 1st and my file hasn't even made it to the NVC

keep on bugging them, what i did was, i emailed them 3 x in one day. i know right? haha

then called 3consecutive days too.... then emailed again.. then they replied they dont have our file yet. but just a while ago my fiance called nvc and they gave us our case number.

I was approved feb. 9 and NVC does not have a case number for me, called today feb. 28. They said check in a week. Once you get the case number its a pretty fast process after that.

aug 17 - got my noa2 today!!!!!!! feb 13! what a nice valentine's and bday gift!

omg!!!!!!!! after 8 days since that change of status, we are apppppprooooooved!!!!!! this is such a priceless moment!!!!!!!!!!

When did u file?

We have that update too after 4 days we have received the email notification for NOA1 last Feb 7. They say it is just a system glitch that even those who received that update months ago haven't receive their NOA2. But hopefully there's a good reason why we have that updates. I never got that status message while waiting for my NOA2. But hey, at least it means your petition was touched for whatever reason!

I have the same status and read the same message when I checked the status of our application. I thought everyone had the same message or status.My fiance did not call to USCIS we are just waiting patiently but we did our best to give all the requirements needed and we even submitted more than the minimum requirements. Though I am very happy if that is the case. Good luck to all of us! God bless!

Ya it seems that ppl who got this after a long wait, u being at the perfect time, it normally means approval I hope u get it! Wait a week or two!

i REALLY hope it is an approval.

just called yesterday, they told us to wait for their call on Wednesday. perhaps we will call them back again. lol cos the tier 1 could not even answer what it means... unfortunately monday wasn't the best time to talk to a tier 2, accdg to a tier1. lol

Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.

got our noa1 aug16,2012

my fiance actually tried to ask the customer rep. if it is possible to talk to a tier2. unfortunately, she just told my fiance "if i were you, just keep on calling us or give us a call by the end of this week.

after reading some topics about the sudden change, it made me kinda happy ( i suppose?) cos some k1's who had the same msg got approved post 1 week.

hi! what is really a NOA1? was it the receipt after we sent the I-129F? aug 14 we sent the package then aug 16 they told us they got the payment.. its been 22days now and still haven't heard anything if we passed or got denied or something.... thanks!

I and my fiance are a lil confused thou.. you see, we sent the package aug. 14 ,2012 then he told me on august 16 he got a receipt from them that they have already received the payment , question is, was that the actual NOA1? cos it has been 24days oredy and we are not sure if they approved oR package or what
