I currently hold an F-1 visa and my wife who is a citizen is still a student. So while filing for the I-864 we had a joint sponsor. I was wondering how does my wife who is still a student fill up the I-864 form as she does not have any income source yet.

Any assistance in this regard would be highly appreciated.

I will be submitting my I-485 packet today. Do I have to write a check for my biometric fee as well? It does not say anywhere that I have to. But I am just curious. FYI, I am a F1 student who got married to a citizen.

I would appreciate any assistance on this.

Hi,

I am a F-1 student who got married to a US citizen. While filling up my I-485 form in part 2 it asks for my application type. given the options there, I could not find any option that would fit my case. What do I select then? Also for I-131 where do i find a sample version where it explains part 7 properly.

Hi,

I am an F-1 student who recently got married to a US citizen. while filling out my immigration forms, I saw them asking for Alien Registration Number or simply A Number. If my understanding is right, this is for people with LPR or is it asking ones passport number? Also what is the visa number in your visa? I see a few number codes there.

Assistance in this regard would be highly appreciated.

I am currently on F-1 visa and recently got married to an US citizen. While filling out the I-765 form I came across number 16 where it guides you to part 2 of the instructions and tells you to figure out your eligibility. I went through that part and could not find anything/or probably failed to understand where my standing is as per the form. Any assistance on this regard would be highly appreciated.

Also with regards to the I-864 form, if my wife is unable to sponsor me (she is a student) does she have to fill up a I-864 form? and would the joint sponsor fill up a I-864A or I-864?

My wife is filing for my status change. But she is not sponsoring for me. Someone else is. In the I-864 form, what category would he be under. I am confused.

If you are a student in the USA currently then you are not filing a spousal visa. You are filing adjustment of status from a student status inside the USA.

Hello,

My wife recently interviewed for her naturalization and the oath is due on the 27th of June. As per as my understanding goes, she has to file i-130 on my behalf and I have to file i-485 and i-765 for work authorization. What do I have to file for advanced parole? and do I have to sponsored by anyone? note, my wife and I both are students.

I was hoping someone would shed some light on how do I proceed from here to apply for my green card? She has to file in i-130 for me. Do I have to file in i-485 then? Also do I need to file in i-765?
