I'm not sure where to go to talk about the TN1 visa but I have long question.
My girlfriend lives in Canada and I live in the US. We have been dating for almost 2 years. We wanted to do the common law you know her and I living together in the US for a year to bring me to Canada. Make a long story short, She getting TN1 visa in the US and we wanted to get married on Jan in Canada. The TN1 visa won't allow us to get married without filing out complicated papers, in which she could ruin TN1 cause she will be denial entry. At first we wanted to do the common law but a year went by we wanted to try the marriage sponsorship. I hear the TN1 visa is not dual intent but she is not trying to stay in the US. Her job is in Canada and they are allowing her to do work remotely in the US. She has lots of ties in Canada. The goal is to get me to Canada. While on the TN1 visa is she still able to do the whole one year thing then she can sponsor me under the family sponsorship without messing with the visa?
