  1. I've never heard of anyone needing a visa for a connecting flight. Japan is not the destination. Honestly, why would Japan require a visa for passengers being herded from one plane to another?

I couldn't get a ticket to go in mexico bz i had the connection for 1 hour in US.

  2. Ok guys, tomorrow i have finally my interview and im so nervous about it . This process was so long that if something will happen and not get the visa , i swear that my hearth will stop beating right theere in the embesy . I have :

    -FORMS - DS 156 /DS 156 K

    -DS 157

    -I 134(affidat of suport )

    -Bank statements

    - tax return last 3 years

    -Form 1099

    - Letter of employer

Divorce certificat ( original- as they request)

    Police record

    birth certificate copy+original

Pictures around 50(maybe more) boarding passes , passport stamps , hotels bills , engagement party bills , ups , money transfer( is there any problem if he sent me money?) should i add them to the file? skype printscreen ( not very much, i forgot to save the archives ) whatsapp conversations a lot ... what else do i need. am i good to go? and please say a little prayer for me!!!

  3. yesterday i received package 3. In the instruction they mention written with a pen to bring at the interview the original divorce certificate of my fiance!!!! the problem is that that certificate should be at them bc we sent that to them when we got the REF.( rfe was requesting originals certificate ) so we sent it to uscis and now i don t have another one to bring to the interview. What should i do?

  4. layers suck!!! at least mine . we got noa 2 on 20 july and on 27our petitipn arrived on nvc and i called the layer yesturday and he had no freaking ideea that the case was aproved !!!!!! how is this possible? the conclusion is that layers don t do anything they just submit the forms and that s it . they don t call or check anything . just call by yourslef nothing bad can happen.

  5. i'm not sure if your case and my case are the same....what i did i start downloading ALL the forms that i need to send to my fiance such as ds-156 and etc.

above this screen you'll see "EXAMPLE FORMS".....check which form you need to download and print it...some forms you need 2 copies..but like i mention..i'm not sure if your embassy has same rules like where my petition will be (philippines)

i think i will receive those forms from the embasy with the package 3? hmm or can i just take them from here?

  6. guys my eyes are full of tiers .my fiance called (603)334-0700. today to ask if they received our approved petition and they said arrived today and will be send to the consulate next week maybe. they also gave us a case number starting with ...BCH2...... . is this the case number we were waiting for? what do i need to do with it ? how will i know when nvc sends the petition ? how do i track it by DHL? I have waited for so long ..that i can t believe is finally happening !!!! Can someone please give me some advice of what do do next ? im gathering all the proves of relashionship , bills, airplanetcikets, money transfer ,skype and whatapp conversations... but what does he needs to send me exactly from there. Our layer is moving so slow and i don t want to count on him anymore. I know he needs to send affidat of support ..but what else? thank you very much and goodluck to everybody.

  7. I did got married in a church . There is no problem with it as long as you don t get a certificate . It s only a matter of you and your man in front of God , nobody can 't deny you for that:)) Or just do an engagment with your loved one in church with your family if you want . From my point of view and my religion , im ortodox , there is nothing wrong . You can t be married legally for sure but in church is a diffrent thing . I really wanted to have a ceremony in the church with my family and friends and the priest did it for us without causing problems for the visa. But maybe we have other laws , who knows? you should ask uscis . after all is just a party with him and your family , nothing that needs papers

Anything which results in a 'marriage' certificate is a no-no. Play it safe with the USCIS. If you wish to have a faith ceremony before you leave, can you get a priest to do a simple private blessing for the soon-to-be-married couple, for a send off? Nothing official in the laws of men but very kosher with the one up above? Just an idea...
