I have taken a hiatus, but now I'm back.

This visa process you are doing will come out succesfully! I have realized that if you go through the motions and do what is required, then all will be good. All that's left is trust in the Lord. Dorchel, no, my medical was not like that. I did the x-ray, the exam, and got the shots that same day. Then I went back two days later to get the report. All that was done one week before my appointment. Will they have time to give you the report? It's a sealed letter that you are not supposed to open. You take it to the embassy. Sometimes they send it to the embassy for you, but I took mine.

Dorchel, yes, there are two separate lines. The one closest to the street and is parallel to it is the line for tourist visas. The one adjacent to the tourist visa line is the visa immigrant line. The security guys outside call it the residence line.

Dorchel, the medical cost me $290 US. I used Dr. Beaucheraux. Other doctors charged $300. If he hasn't had any shots taken, then the doctor will determine which shots he will need to take. It was also obligatory for me to have an x-ray taken, but it wasn't used at all. Hope this helps.

Glad that I have made this trip before, otherwise, I'd be terrified to travel alone and have to take connecting flights!

Everything seems to be fine at the consulate. Things look to be going smooth. Hope all goes well for your parents next month

So, a friend of mine had an interview today and was asked for his police certificate. Luckily he had it with him. I'm picking mine up wednesday. So, thanks to you I had mine done!
