I called the NVC. I didn't wait the 2 weeks...I received NOA2 on Feb. 28th and called the NVC on March 8th and they told me they had received the petition and sent it off to Nairobi. I guess something will come in the mail but go ahead and call. They will ask you the name and birthdate of your fiance and they were very nice.

This is my first time posting in this forum. My fiance, Charloh just picked up the packet yesterday from the Nairobi embassy!!! I am wondering if anyone has any experience and can give us some advice on the interview process there. Of course we are somewhat nervous and want this to succeed! Thanks

I am getting a little nervous in regards to the upcoming interview that my fiance, Charloh will be having. Is there anyone with experience at the Nairobi embassy? I am wondering how the process went and what types of questions they may ask. Thanks everyone!

Just wanted to give the latest update. On Wednesday I decided to call the NVC, even though our NOA2 was issued Feb. 28th To my surprise they said they had received the packet and were sending it off to the US Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya where my fiance is. So on Thursday I called the embassy and they had already received the packet from the NVC!!!!! My fiance Charloh went there this morning and picked it up and is now going to work on the forms. UNBELIEVABLE how fast things go once they reach NVC!

I am sorry if this is a redundant question but I just want to make sure before I send the packet to Kenya. We received our NOA2 and from what I gather from the guide seciton I need to mail the same packet to him as I did when I filed the I-129F. In addition, I need to send the I-134, letter from employer and 2 recent paystubs, and another letter of intent, and a copy of the NOA2. Do I have to wait until I hear from the NVC or do I go on and mail Charloh (fiance) the things now? For some reason I was thinking I was suppose to mail the I-134 to NVC. Sorry if I am confused!!!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to let you guys know that Feb. 28th I received the NOA2 by email!!!! We are so excited and now ready for the remaining adventure towards the interview in Nairobi!

If someone could explain how to access the page to change my information on the VJ site I'd appreciate it. I know its probably staring me in the face but I am blind this morning!

We are using CSC and I received the NOA! on Nov. 21, 2005. Am anxiously awaiting the NOA2!

Hi everyone! I have been a member for sometime now but never posted. This site has been a wealth of information and I felt it time to jump in!!! My fiance and I met in 2000 online and after I had 2 failed marriages realized that Charloh was the man for me. I went to Kenya in September 2005 with my 20 yr. old daughter and 2 year old granddaughter. We had a wonderful time and after all those years of phone calls, chats and emails we felt so comfortable with each other. Charloh proposed and I accepted! We are now waiting for our NOA2 and it seems CSC is moving quickly. I know we will need your advice soon...am wondering if anyone can explain what happens once the NOA2 arrives? Thanks again!
