Ok. Here's the situation, I have been very depressed and sad. I'm 28, my filipina wife is 26. Married almost 5 years, no kids. She decided to simply leave me to be "independent/single" amd doesn't want live with me. Wants divorce. She has her 10 ye card. She said was very sorry, I'm a good man and she doesn't want hurt me ( too late). Anyway, divorce papers being filed for a while. We were apart for long time and she got too uses to it. She's not vindictive though.
Here's my question: If I meet another woman from Philippines, have my divorce decree, can I sponsor her for a k1 fiancee visa??? My wife was my best friend and she and I neither have any property/$ and I'm trying to land a teaching job. She's living with her gf and working.
I signed the aff of support as required for my wife k1 a few years ago. I k ow I'm bound by it under some terms. But just want to know.....if I do meet another woman... And I do have a job (fingers crossed) with a decent salary...can I sponsor her??? No conflicts? I ask because I can't afford ask atty. Thanks guys. And if it's not too much trouble say a little prayer for me, and my wife. She's a good girl in her heart, she just changed.
