  1. thank you so much biggrin.png and yes it feels really really great, specially after seeing how much summer camp was going to cost this summer for one kid OMG! stress is almost all gone, now i'm panicking over the rest of things i hope i didnt forget to do and forms i dont know if i need to do yet hahahahaha!

cant wait to move there, stalking my future home on google earth makes me love the area already!

Yes! You will be moving in the summer which is absolutely lovely, warm, and green. Lots of big green yards and parks for your kid to play in! Can't say the same for the winter, but being from Canada, it shouldn't be a shock to you :)

Minneapolis is also a great city with delicious restaurants, so I hope you get to spend some time in the city.

  2. On May 1, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

awesomeness!!! i'm so so so relieved and happy that finally finally! we got our NOA2!

due to my lack of coherent brain function at the moment and i cant seem to find where to look, could anyone please direct me to the guides for the next procedures? also how many sets of fotos are required for the medical and interview?

    omg!!!

best wishes to all those still waiting!

Really big congratulations! My hometown is right next door - Anoka - so I felt like I needed to comment and pass along good wishes to a fellow NW suburbanite! Luckily I'm in DC right now so ours went to Vermont instead of CSC, and we got our approval this week too. Feels great, right?

  3. Actually there is something we can do, the CSC people bombarded their reps and the obudsman with calls and letters and CSC picked up the pace

Yes, definitely. I had just contacted two congressional offices when I was approved. I don't think they had done anything yet and our approval in the same time frame was coincidental (a few others in my "group" were also approved yesterday). But if nothing else, it made me feel better to know that someone out there knew there was a backlog and was pushing USCIS.

It will make you feel proactive - I suggest writing/calling your representatives and senators to complain and investigate your situation. There have been cases on here of people approved really soon after contacting a rep. It might bring your app closer to the top of the stack!

  4. Vermont approval today at 5:35 pm EST. Our NOA1 date was October 23. SO HAPPY! Your time will come guys. I had JUST contacted two senators, and I don't think they did anything to push it through (only contacted them yesterday and they hadn't even replied yet).

  5. I seriously can't wait for VSC to creep into the 20s with the October filers. I feel like I'm moving in slow motion.. Watching myself cross the finish line in the most annoyingly slowed down movement ever! BUT at least they're still moving. Even if it is excruciating.

COME ON VSC! KEEEEEEP GOOOOOOOOIIIIIIIIINNNNNGGGGG (That's me speaking in slow motion)

Love it! I'm thinking the same thing. It's the last two weeks of spring semester in graduate school and I simply cannot write my final papers while I'm checking VJ and USCIS every 30 seconds! LATE OCTOBER COOOOOOOME ONNNNNNN!

  6. Just wanted to add my experience:

My fiance has visited me in the US three times since we got engaged last May. The first two times he was honest at the airport (Washington Dulles) and was not questioned at all. The third time, this past December, he entered at Minneapolis-Saint Paul and mentioned he was visiting his fiance's family for Christmas. This time he was questioned in a special room about his intent to stay in the country. He was completely honest and had his materials with him - he told them he was in the K1 process and it would be stupid for him to try to stay. He had a return ticket. They let him through, though it was a nail-biter for me, waiting for him!

Hope everyone else has a lovely visit. I'm hoping he won't have to visit again and VSC will speed things up!
