What is the criteria for getting applications expedited?

Hi,
If you are a permanent resident, you need a separate I-130 for your wife and your daughter. Are you a USC or a permanent resident? Only a USC can file for a parent.
so whether he is a permenant resident or a us citizen, he still has to file two I-130 for each individual?

I believe one I-130 is for one person, but I'm just like you and very new to the whole process. I wish you luck in your journey!!

2 people - 2 forms
Passport needed, as well as letter from the father allowing the child to leave
Good luck
Right now were in the process of getting full custody of the child which the courts should rule out in July.
upon recieving the I-130 I submit, will they request for a passport and updated birth certificate for the child? Or is this later in the process, NVC or interview phase.
Reason I'm asking is because i would like to get this application(I-130 X2) going as I know this is a very slow process.
Thanks again

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie so please bear with me.
I'm going to file my I-130 soon and want to bring my wife and stepdaughter here at the same time. It may sound like a dumb question but do I need to submit two different I-130 forms? One for my wife and one for my stepchild. Or, can I submit the I-130 and just add my daughter who is 3 years old to my wifes I-130 form?
also, Will the child need a passport during the process?
This forum has been a tremendous help for me so far, thanks for any help or replies.

I'm in the same situation, going to submit the I-130 this month. worked the last 4 months of 2011, and thus have very little income to show on my 2011 tax return. I currently do work and make around 200% above the poverty level here in Hawaii. Would i have to submit some recent pay stub in addition to my tax return? I was in school full time from august 2010 - present, should i include transcipts or a letter explaining this? not sure how to approach this when they/if ask. trying to avoid them denying my applicationf for request of information.
