    Hello there!! ***INTERVIEW UPDATE***

My wife had the interview this morning at the Tampa Florida Field Office. I must say that I was nervous as she was actually in and out in about 12 minutes. There were others still being interviewed that had gone in before her, this made me nervous but all was well as she was APPROVED!! Below are the Personal questions that were asked...

    1. Where did you meet your husband and how long ago was it?

    2. How many years have you been married?

    3. Do you have any kids?

    4. Has your husband previously been married?

    5. Do you know your husbands kids and where they live?

    6. How many times have you been married?

    7. How many years have you been living in the United States?

    8. Where do you currently live and with whom?

    9. What is your current phone number?

    10. Do you work? and does you husband work?

    The civics questions:

    1. What is the "Rule of Law?"

    2. How old do citizens have to be to vote for president?

    3. What major event happened on September 11th 2001 in the United States?

    4. What Ocean is on the West Coast of the United States?

    5. Why does the flag have 13 Stripes?

    6. What is the name of the National Anthem?

    The question that she had to read was;

How many Senators do we have? and she had to Write; We have One Hundred Senators.

Most of the questions came from pages 11 through 16 from the N-400 Application. By the way Received the email confirmation stating that we are in line for the Oath Ceremony before even walking out of the office!! She was not asked for any type of evidence whatsoever!!

All I can say is prepare for the civics test. We saw several people there with the civics notebook studying and one women even came out and told her family that was waiting, "I did not make it by one question" and started to cry. We hope this helps anyone still waiting!! Hang in there and the day will eventually come..

I had my interview on April 3rd and they asked me the same exact questions for the civics. Congrats...

  2. I live in Fort Myers and did my fingerprinting here. The office there is always empty and I went as soon as received the biometrics letter like 2 weeks before the date in the letter and they didn't asked me anything, they were nice. A friend of mine went a week before and they told her your date it is in a week and she asked if she could do it that day and they let her do.

  3. So.. maybe u should, because I know a girl she had her interview and they told her she was approved, then her status never changed after almost 1 month later she went on an infopass at the same location she had the interview, she talked to an immigration officer and they retrieve her process and she saw a big stamp approved, but they told her that day she had the interview they had problems with the system and the officer didn't update her approval and forgot to do it. So if she kept waiting she would be waiting forever.... Wait one more week, if nothing changes go for a infopass....

So I went for my interview on 6/3, and the interview lasted about 10-15 minutes, in which at the end she said that I was approved for GC (yaiii). However, she did not ask for my AP, Work Auth etc, even when I mentioned it. She said I should keep it just in case I need to travel (although she suggested that I didn't). She said I should receive the GC in about a month.

It's been over 2 weeks since the interview and their system still says "Interview and Testing". They have been pretty efficient so far with status updates...

    Should I be concerned?

  4. How do u know that the papers are in the Tampa office?! Because when te petition goes to the office it is because u are going to have interview. Did the send u a letter telling u that?! I'm just asking because I live in Florida and I'm waiting for my green card for a couple months and I cannot even see at the website the status and calling the immigration didn't help at all.
