You should get tax return transcript from the IRS, they are free, a friend of mine sent her tax returns from H&R block and she got an ref.

Hi there, there is no need to translate the bc for the interview, (if is in Spanish or English), they require a translation only when the f-129 package was originally sent.
Make sure you bring enough evidence for the interview, better to be prepared than unprepared
Best of luck on your interview!

Wow, I am trully sorry to hear that you have been on AP for quite some time. I am sure that you have called, but have they said why?? Seems to me that your interview went as smooth as mine or better. Did you email them? It has not even been a week and I am so sad. I can't imagine how you feel. Did they give you a time frame?
After two weeks of waiting for his passport and visa I called to find out why is taking them so long to send it, that's when they told me the bad news, they gave me a time frame of 90 days and as you know it has been more than that. Then I emailed them asking if there is any documents needed and they said that at the time there is nothing else needed from us that as soon as they are done with the process that they will let us know. My interview was great, she glanced to all the evidence and asked the usual questions and then said the magic words we all want to hear. It has been hard for the two of us, but we are keeping the faith. BTW don't waste $7 on someone in Mexico, just call DOS and they will give you the same answer or more.

Sorry to hear about your case, I was also approved and everything went well, two weeks later we were put on AP, still waiting four months later, I keep calling and they just keep telling me that it is a good case and that it is still undergoing verification, some say that this is do so you won't have any problems at POE, some say that this happens when the consulate is a their busiest time. I'm not sure anymore, just hope this process will be over soon. Good luck and be patient........ On a positive note you guys were approved! good luck

Authenticity stamp on back of the BC, hope this helps, but what's important is the translation of the birth certificate, I'm sure they will see the stamp or sticker on it.

My fiance's visa was approved on January 16, 2013 and called Domex many times and nothing but then I called the embassy and we were put on administrative processing for 90 days, they will send us a notice and we need to respond within the 90 days, you should call them, their number is 1-877-804-5402 and get your credit card or debit card ready because they charge you $7.00 USD for the call.
Buena suerte!

My fiance got his visa approval three and a half weeks ago and we still waiting for domex, I called the embassy and they said it takes between one to four weeks, to hang in there. Don't loose hope it might take less for you who knows

Thank you MrTee for your suggestion, I just called the embassy and they assure me that everyhting is in order no documents are missing and that I am within the time frame, it takes up to a month for my fiance to receive his documents. They are just a little behind with all the approvals and delivering them.

Thanks, I do check Domex website, and call them every other day.... I will pay the $7 tomorrow and give the embassy a ring, theree is another member who had the interview the day after mine and nothing yet, not sure why they taking so long.

He lives in the capital, and he was fully approved, no AP everything was smooth, handed in all the forms and he was sent to the bank to pay the $15 USD and returned the receipt and the said congratulation your visa has been approved go pay Domex. Should I call the embassy?
-
It's been two weeks from his interview and I keep calling Domex and still nothing, I asked them how long does it takes and they simply said that it may take from one to six weeks, is this normal?

Congratulations

Thanks MrTee12 was just wondering just in case our pictures are not accepted.
-
Thanks for the quick respond!

Can anyone tell me if the embassy in the Dominican Republic takes passport pictures, the reason why I'm asking is that I've heard that some passport pictures are not accepted and that they make you retake the pictures? how true is that? our interview is coming up and I want to make sure that I have the correct pictures with the correct background. 2x2 with white background exactly as they say on the interview letter.

In order to get the medical done you need to have your interview letter or packet 4, you still have a long way to go, I just checked your timeline and you guys just send out you I-129. Unfortunately it doesn't work that way, my thoughts to you is to keep reading how the process goes, best of luck to you.
