To all my visajourney family I am happy to inform that today my fiance picked up his visa finally, thank you lord for listening to all my prayers and thanks to all of you who dedicated their time to help me cope with the long journey. I can't. thank you enough you guys are the best.

hey mama, anything yet? I'm going to send my fiance over the embassy to get some answers, I called DOS and they tell me to call the embassy, I sent an email and they didn't response. Hope you're doing ok

My Fiance received a letter from the embassy yesterday, they are requesting his medical which were never send to the embassy on time for his interview back in January, he is at the embassy as we speak getting his passport and then going to get a copy of his medical exam (again). my question is how long after they get the medical exam would they give him his visa? as you know we have been on AP for almost six months

It's ok to ask questions, we are in this together,, LOL. He has to go pick up the results next week the 17th, and bring it to the Embassy on the 18th along with his passport, after that they told him that they will issue his visa and will receive it in about 2 weeks. Crossing my fingers and praying to God!! DOS hasn't updated anything yet, it still says AP.
hope that changed after they received his medical. -

Yes they have, that I have a strong case and blah blah blah, but Santo Domingo is well known for placing cases on AP, there has been so many frauds that people like us who are trying to do the right by the book, are paying for it, I see it as a precaution that the embassy is taking which is fine and all but why take so long. Gees!

Hey girl... I'm okay.. missing my husband soo much
I wish I could atleast go visit him but I can;t afford it and with my new jobs I am working like crazy and can't get time off anytime soon I have been in this stupid extra process for 7 1/2 months.. arrghhh when will this end? :'( But I see that you got some news already I am so happy for you.. just wait pretty soon you guys will be together forever.. I pray for everyone going thru this every morning.. <3

They updated the my fiance's status on the CEAC website today, does that mean that they will work on our case soon? we have been on AP for 3 months, this is too painful... : (

Hey Rosy, yes our case still in AP, nothing in the mail yet, it's been a little bit over a month and not a clue of what's happening with our case. 5 months it's a really long time, I hope that everything works out fine for all of us! keep the faith!

Our case was placed on AP, more waiting just called the embassy and it was placed on Jan. 28. They said we have to wait until they send us a notice, then why did they say visa was approved and then give us the run around, I am just fed up with this BS, we do everything by the book and there's always something. Need to stay positive
