Thank you guys, Dee I sent him to the embassy because we hit the 6 weeks mark and to our surprise his visa packege was a domex for 3 weeks, gotta love how incompetent these pple could get, anywho, he didn't even asked of why he was on AP he was just happy to go pick up his visa, he will be arriving next week god's willing.

Hi sweetie, its been five weeks and my honey hasn't received anything yet, I sent them an email and didn't get a response I called DOS and they said to contact the embassy I did and they directed me to that 800 #. I'm not sure what's going on, I'm just going to leave it in God's hands.

Congratulations, I am waiting for my fiance to get his visa, he did the medicals all over again and dropped them off and I'm checking CEAC and still says Issued going on two weeks now.

Hey chica, my fiance had to retake the medical (they expired in 6 months, keep that in mind just in case it happens to you), he submitted them and they said that in 4 to 6 weeks (maybe less) he will receive his visa, Gods willing

Hola mi reina, everything is good thanks to the almighty, the embassy send my fiance a letter to submit the medical exam, he picked up his passport and went to the consultorio de visa to get them and to our surprised they did send the medical but after 6 months they expired so we had to get them done again, today he is picking up the results and bringing them to the embassy tomorrow, hopefully after that he will get his visa and I could have him with me. Yes they have, that I have a strong case and blah blah blah, but Santo Domingo is well known for placing cases on AP, there has been so many frauds that people like us who are trying to do the right by the book, are paying for it, I see it as a precaution that the embassy is taking which is fine and all but why take so long. Gees!

It's ok to ask questions, we are in this together,, LOL. He has to go pick up the results next week the 17th, and bring it to the Embassy on the 18th along with his passport, after that they told him that they will issue his visa and will receive it in about 2 weeks. Crossing my fingers and praying to God!! DOS hasn't updated anything yet, it still says AP. hope that changed after they received his medical.

Hi Dee, We weren't missing any documents they did send the medical, the funny ####### is that the medical expired after six months, I just have to pay for them again, he is getting them done today. I'm over it now sort of speak, after screaming and yelling, I just need him here with me. This has been a bumpy ride for us, but just need to stay calm and take it one day at a time. And yes hopefully this will resolved our AP (Gods willing)

No hun at his interview we were told that we were approved, nothing about AP, we went to pay domex and waited for 2 weeks, then I decided to call the embassy and that's when they told me that we were put on AP

My case still at the embassy, we were approved, what they said to me was that since his name is so common the they still investigating. The CO saw our pictures and asked questions and said felicidades su visa ha sido aprovada y pague a domex. When I called DOS today they said that my case is in pretty good shape, the nice lady shocked me when she said out of the blue that my fiance's son was cute (whom I'm also bringing on a k-2) I told her that he stole my heart at only 4 yrs old. Hey, I called DOS today and they said that my file was moved to the processing department that I should hear good news soon, if I don't hear anything within a week then to give them a call The weirdest thing is that I checked CEAC this morning and it said that his visa was ready, and I just checked it again tonight and its back to AP. : (

Congratulations, yes it's normal, is the way they handle mail, but tell your fiance not to open it and take good care of it until he gives it at POE.
