  1. Thank you! I hope it goes quickly for you as well. R is here already - arrived late Saturday night. :)

  2. Thank you so much! Just got a text, he was approved!

  3. You get the invoice number after you pay, you pay at the website that they tell you to go to in the packet. Go to the link below & click the fiance packet link on the left side, it will give you the website where you go to pay...

  4. Hey, not sure what else to tell you - you have to go to the link I posted down below & get the package & do what it says. There is a website where you fill out the DS260, pay, and make the appointments - it's all at that link...

  5. So glad you got the NOA2. Go to the link in the last comment I sent you & make sure you have all that stuff. You'll need to make the appointments for the interview & the biometrics, but not the medical - that's a walk in, should be done 1 or 2 days ahead of the interview, in Juarez. R's interview is 2 weeks from today. Meanwhile I'm in the hurricane area - it's a...

  6. Go to this page: http://ciudadjuarez.usconsulate.gov/fianceforms.html The first link on the page is the package they will send telling you what you need at the interview. You can start getting that together so you'll be ready to go as quickly as possible!

  7. Hey - we're doing ok, scheduled the interview for 11/14. When I was on the website there were interviews available within like 2 to 3 weeks - did you download the K1 list? Work on that stuff so you have everything ready & you can schedule ASAP once they process your RFE stuff!

  8. Did you get anything in the mail yet?

  9. Damn damn damn!!!!! I hope you clear the RFE as quickly as you can. Glad you got something - it means your underway.

  10. Thinking of you - any time now...

  11. I feel like my team got a point cuz you got your date LOL! Really hoping everything goes well for you. :)

  12. Did I win the bet yet? ;) Glad to see you got a date!

It is pretty unfair that VERMONT does not speed up their process!!! I really hope they wake up!!! Good luck on the interview!!! I have been keeping track of California timelines and they have been like 4 months. I really hope they can just have a specific time frame. We ALL want out love ones here! it is pretty unfair that they cant have a specific time frame of 5 months fir the visa approval and interview.

  15. Has anyone checked to see if Vermont fell off the face of the earth? Just saying...

      I know - look at the last 15 NOA2s - they've done 15 in 2 weeks. CA did 15 in 3 days. #######, Vermont!? :(

From what I'm reading though, it appears that CSC is taking time to send approved petitions to NVC, so in the end it may work out to be around the same processing time as VSC. I still say it's unfair.

We started already - filed the application with an acceptance date (NOA1) of March 1. One thing to be aware of with costs is the AOS (adjustment of status). You do it after they get here & you get married, & it costs nearly $1000 and should be done as soon as you can. I didn't pay enough attention to that & had to replan & start saving now.

Tambien tengo mi hijo de once meses aqui conmigo en NJ y muy lejos de su papa, alla en Tlaxcala. :( No hablo muy bien pero mi papi siempre dice: echele ganas! y si se puede! :)

Hey - I'm pretty new here too so didn't know how to reply to your post on my profile - sorry! Anyway getting married in Mexico wasn't an option for me, so I don't know a lot about the pro & con of it. I believe that the "spouse" visa tends to take longer than the "fiance" visa though.
