  1. An attorney told me that u can file I-751 90 days before the expired date even if you have a divorce. They can terminate your conditional residency status before the 2 year period based on the divorce (although this would only happen if they were made aware of it). Even then, if they do terminate it, they must give you official notice and then you are allowed to file the I-751.

  2. I read your post and see that its exactly like my situation. My husband removed my name of the lease and they dont keep the old one. I asked if they can write me a letter states that I lived with him, they said they need his permission so its useless. He doesnt wanna help me at all and even tries to created evidence like this isnt a valid marriage so he doesnt have to support me based on I-864.
