hi, i am a newbie as well, but i think i have an answer for you. i just sent out our i-129f packet last week. I am pretty sure you will need a police clearance if you have lived abroad more than six consecutive months. Some countries the police clearance is not available unless you are physically there. good luck to you guys. i hope this helps.

Thanks Wilfon, I got some advice from friends here, some says i needed but some says no i wont but i'd rather to get Police clearance in case I needed to show them. But as a Nonimmigrant based on http://travel.state.gov/visa/fees/fees_3272.html Nonimmigrant visa applicants do not routinely need to submit civil documents in support of visa applications. Goodluck to you too and God bless!!
