My Fiance and I are getting married soon. THANKS TO ALL WHO HELPED US GET THIS FAR!!!!
We are ready to begin the AOS process. Would anyone mind sending a link to the process steps? Thanks Bunches

Right now I am having a horrible experience with PAL. The customer service is terrible. No one answers the phone in Los Angeles or Las Vegas. The website would not allow booking on-line so I had to book over the phone, AT A HIGHER PRICE. It gets better. Instead of just taking my credit card info over the phone, they have to send me a credit card authorization paper from the LA office. I have been waiting all day and still no one will answer the phone in LA or return any messages I have left. I am simply tryin to avoid having my Fiancee change planes. I thought it would be nice for us to meet in Las Vegas and fly togaether home to Orlando. I guess not. This will be my last experience with PAL. Good luck to anyone else who decides to use this company.

We have 55 days before interview. Should my Fianceee continue with the medical exam now? Does the exam expire after "X" number of days? Thanks
-
Our wait for an interview in Manila is 56 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Is this happening to anyone else or do I have a sign on my back?????? Waited 200 days for NOA2 and now this
-
From the posts above, it sounds like it happens during the physical. The exam doctor will tell her what shots are needed and give them to her as part of the physical. Is this correct?
Thanks to everyone
-
This is a list of shots found in the K1 instructions. Are all these required prior to the physical exam?
Vaccinations currently required are as follows:
Mumps
Measles
Rubella
Polio
Tetanus
Diphtheria
Pertussis
Haemophilus influenzae Type B
Rotavirus
Hepatitis A
Hepatitis B
Meningococcal disease
Varicella
Pneumococcal
Influenza
Any other vaccinations recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices.
My Fiancee has no prior shot records. Does she need all of these shots? ouch
Thanks

Wow, 8 noa2 on Friday, that's double the weekday load and from my memory of watching Fridays were usually dead.
Something brewing in Vermont?
Yea and everyone of those approvals has a NOA1 that is after mine...Way to go Vermont!!! You never fail to disappoint!!

Maybe our concept of time makes this difficult. I once read that when asked what they considered to be a "long time", an American child aswered, 1 year. When asked the same question, a Chinese child of the same age answered, 10 years. I have not seen my Love in 197 days. If needed, I will wait another 197. Just thought I would add a little perspective. I know this doesn't make it any easier.

I just received the following response from my Congressman's office:
"This case is currently with an officer. Please allow 30 days for the officers review. If you have not heard from our office by the end of September, please feel free to contact our office again"
I'm not sure but I think this is good news

My application took six months on the money applied feb 13,2012 ... i hope that helps
I am happy for you, truly. It is difficult for me because my NOA1 was February 6. Vermont approving petitions filed after mine feels like a sick joke. There is gross mis-management in that operation. We are just numbers. If they truly cared, they would process by date received. There seems to be now logical method to this. Congrats again

Hell yes, everyone call. I work for government, and even I am amazed by this agency. Thing is, this office NEVER hears any of the calls we place to the customer service line...those people are professional excuse-makers, more or less. If this VSC director starts feeling some heat, he has the power to pick this up. I think it is important, from a government worker's viewpoint, that they understand how organized we are. The things that I have learned on this site, and from a few people here through messaging, have enlightened me greatly, AND allowed me to see through the bs that they give me on that line. The tier 2 woman today fed me complete inaccurate info...and I called her on it...she basically responded that the "little" internet rumors don't mean anything.
We'll see.
OK you are driving this bus...haha...what number would you like us to call?...Im ready!!!!!!!! day 192
Congratulations to a fellow March filer! I must say I am very happy to see someone in March get approved from Vermont!
I wish they would approve us early february filers

Under..... The Holy Grail? Amelia Earhart's plane? The Gettysburg Address? The Liberty Bell? Big foot?
Laughing out loud...all good ones...thanks
-
To all of the February filers: This opionion is mine and it is based on the limited information that we get from the approvals that are shown on the Visa Journey Site. Of course, on the USCIS side, they would rather lie to you, even when the truth sounds better. If you call USCIS they will tell you that they are working on January 16th files. The reason that they say this is because they do not to want to tell you the truth: because if they admit that they are working on late Feb. and March, and skipping over early to mid February files, then all of us in this time frame would be qualified for a "Service Request". I told USCIS that it has been over 6 months for me and that I am entitled to a Service Request, after 5 months. The info about the Expectations for service in 5 months or less is even stated on their own web site. And they tell me that nothing is wrong, and my files are not lost of misplaced because they are not working on February files yet. "If you have not received approval after another month you can call back and we willl check on it".
Look at the last 15 approvals for Vermont Service Center. Most of of NOA-1 dates that they have approved lately are later than February 15. If you could see what they (Vermont) was approving 1 to 2 weeks back-- it was mostly files from late January and files from Feb. 15 to March. Where in the world are the bulk of the files from Feb.1 to Feb. 17?
Today in this thread, "Dos" says they got the NOA2 today and their NOA1 was 2/3...maybe the VSC found our box of files under... i'll let everyone else finish that sentance...hopefully they found it, i dont care where

You were saying??? CONGRATS!!!!
I don't understand??

Hello All. After 193 days I finally received the NOA2 today. My NOA1 was received 2/3/12. So anyone who has been waiting around the same time as me should be hearing something soon. I could hardly control my excitement when I got the news today. I wish you all the best!
Thanks for posting this...I sure hope you are right...congrats on the NOA2
-
I looked at the approval link and the last 8 approvals have NOA1 dates that are ten days after mine. I wish I could get an explanation for that. How could an NOA1 late february be approved prior to a february 6? How sad to be stuck in this rat hole
-
Anyone else out there at over 190 days waiting on the VSC? Just checking to see if I have company. I've contacted my congressman and USCIS with zero results. Has anyone been approved by the VSC latlely. Thanks
-
Our congressman's office sent an email to VSC on July 5th AM. At noon that day we got an RFE. We replied day after we received RFE in mail via USPS next day. They received our reply on July 13, didn't log it into the system until July 18th, and we are still waiting for NOA2 - 192 days and counting...
I called uscis today and they told me that the VSC is currently processing petitions filed on January 16...they offered no additional assistance ...this was sad news indeed

Day 164
Contacted Congressman Webster by e-mail. His office sent me an Assistance Request form to complete and I sent it back today. I didn't like doing it but 5+ months is rediculous!!
-
182...
What does "touched" mean in your timeline? Thanks

Day 163

It is nice here to have everyone's support. I did not mean to start an argument. Just venting. They should be supported by tax dollars. My tax dollars support the Welfare agencies...why not agencies that assist taxpayers? If not, I would rather them double the fee and hire some more staff. Enough on that.
My Fiance and I are at 159 days from NOA1. We are very excited and hopeful it will be soon. I hope everyone else is approved soon as well.
Congrats Linds&yousef!!!!!!! 162 is close for me...Thanks for the hope
