Yes i am a UK citizen.
We have spoken about the option of marriage and have said its something we would both do, as we are extremely happy but we just wanted to see if there were any other lighter options in the mean time.
Will probably give the B2 extension a go.

So here is my situation.
I’m currently in the states on my B2 visa, which is good up until the end of May and I’m currently living with my Girlfriend, who is a US citizen.
We are trying to figure out what options are available, in order for me to remain here and avoid me having to return to the UK and be apart.
We know that marriage is option but we’ve only been together 8 months, so don’t want to jump into anything so serious, so soon, however it is something we have talked in depth about.
The only other option I can see is the B2 visa extension. This is most likely the route I will take, although I do know it’s not guaranteed to be approved.
We just wondered if anyone who has any advice or has been in the situation before or know of any other avenues we could explore in order to make a quick decision.
Cheers.

..Yeah the idea of marriage has become a serious option and that's the route we are looking to go down, in the very immediate future.
Also to answer your question, we want to get married so that we don't have to be apart for an unknown amount of time, the green card would be a big bonus though, as it opens a lot of avenues, work etc..

Hello Visa Journey, I’m very new to this site and just looking for some advice on my current situation.
I’ve been in the states since the start of December on a B2 visa, for which I was granted 6 months.
Currently living with my American girlfriend, we want to go down the avenues of getting an AOS ,engagement or marriage in order for me to get a green card or become a citizen, all of which we had no pre conceived intent to do and something we have decided seriously upon recently.
What is the quickest route for someone in my position to go for, to do everything legally and in order to avoid having to leave the country?
I hope this makes sense, any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
