How is everybody? I got a couples of updates about my EAD, one last Saturday and the other one yesterday, both say that my EAD is on production so I hope to receive it sometime next week. I have also started looking for job a week ago and already started going to interviews. It would be great if I get the EAD card and a job offer at the same time!! ... A girl can dream

Hello to All!!! I am from Lima and now living in South NJ with my husband. We are adjusting my status from a B1/B2 visa and we hope to finish our journey soon!!!!!

What else... Well, I miss my family but Skype is a great way to keep in touch, not much the food because I try to cook peruvian food once a week. My husband loves peruvian food so that is a plus hehe.

I finally got how to post my timeline here ... I am adjusting my status from a B1/B2 visa. I met my husband in January 2011 and got married in May 2012. It took us a while to apply for my AOS because of his job relocation. We finally found a place to live here in NJ and we are getting used to be here.

I just hope that all this process finish soon and start the next chapter of our live together.

Does anybody know how long will take to get the next notification for interview? I am living in South Jersey and the USCIS office that serves this area is the one in Mount Laurel. Anybody around this area??

Thanks for the info. In our case my husband is the petitioner and was born in Indiana (US citizen).

Today I will get my results of medical examen and the Dr asked me the other day if I will use my married name or as appears on my passport/visa. I have been filling out the other forms (I-130, I765) with my married name, but just want to be me sure that its the right way.

You should file the forms with the name you will be using

So if you are planning to change your name to his name then fill the forms out in the married name and send the copies of the maiden name passport and stuff

Then ask quickly as you can get all your documents changed to your married name and then have copies of the new documents to give the government when they ask.

Is he staying in USA? How did he come here? What forms are you filing?

What country is he from? Maybe we can meet up if you are close to chicago and our husbands are from the same place?

Hello everbody

My husband and I just got married three weeks ago in the State of Indiana, and now we are in the process of gathering all the papers and information for the forms. About that I'd like to know if in the forms: should I use my married name - my husband's last name - or should I fill the forms as appears in my passport and visa?
