Hi everyone my PD is May 1 and my i-130 got approved for both of my parents last 11/21. It says they will forward it to NVC. Just like to know whats next. When  Can i call the NvC to get the case and invoice number? Or when will i start paying or sending a docs? Thank u so much in advance for the help. Greatly appreciated.

I check mine last week from Texas Service center, they are still processing applications of I-130 from Nov 2, 2016 as of May 31, 2017 update..

Hi everyone been a long time i havent visited the site. I just got naturalized and wanted to petition both my parents. Im working on my 1-130 form and i dont know what docs needed to include from my parents.  Do i need a cover letter? I did all my applications b4 and i think it worked well on my applications. After 1-130 what other  docs needed for them to prepare. Im planning to send it nextwk. Thank u everyone

Hi.. i would like to ask how long or many months it takes to petition your parents? Without any problem in medical and docs.

We will be stationed in Japan and live there for 3 yrs and im on the process of petioning my parents. Im wondering will be having problems if parents stays with us in Japan until we finished there before entering in US? Because they doesnt know anyone in the US or it will be difficult for them to stay without me takung care of them, while we are in japan.. So, if snyone has the same situation instead they go directly inthe US their POE will be japan. Thanks

Hello, have you tried the DHL website? Ive seen one parcel on sept 27 at cinnatti hub then delivered and recieved in Madrid last Oct 1.. It might be yours.

Hi, ours arrived in 20 days.. Dont worry.. Try tracking your docs on DHL.. Go to DHL website.. Then look for track for shippers reference then type.. Reference ID.. EXP 26 SEP 2012A.. ( date docs left NVC) then, adjust the date to sept 24-28, country SPAIN... You will see if a parcel delivered or recieved.. It doesnt have your name or tracking number but it might be yours.. So you will be aware that time to time embassy had recieved something from NVC.. But they will not answer your directly. And you' ll be surprised one day. GoodLuck!

Hi, did u called the Consulate to know your date of interview? Or you did recieved your packet 4? ... goodluck on your interview.

Call NVC by Phone (603 334 0700), after a week or 2 from the time USCIS approved your petition.

Call NVC and ask for your case number, be ready with your receipt number, petitioners and beneficiary name and birthdate. Receipt no. Is different from case number. As soon u have ur case number, like in Philippines and other countries they could start having ther medical exam and appointment for interview, while others they have to wait until the consulate had recieved your packet 3 checklist and tthats the time they could give you the interview date. So try reading about it. Also, You can call again NVC to follow up your documents when it left and recieved by the consulate so you'll be aware of the its whereabouts. Goodluck on your journey..

Oh, thanksss. Now atleast i could relax and sleep well. Im just worried because everyone in the vj forum i read about the movements of the documents much faster than i thought. Yes, i already sent them a copy of my passport but no replies yet. The NVC told us they already sent the case at the consulate on Aug 13..before we knew my birthdate was incorrect. And i track the dhl it shows one package recieved on Aug 17, i just did assumed its ours since dhl takes 4-5 days only.. Hehe.. ,

Can i ask u a question pls? about the spanish police certificate, do i need to have it translated in English? All my documents where in English since my country of origin second language is English already. And during visa delivery do the embassy courier ask for the delivery address since i will be moving out next month, i dont want it delivered here on the address i filled up on the documents.

I would like to ask anyone with the same situation , On august 13 we called NVC and ask for information about our case status. They asked for the receipt no, petitioners name and birthdate and benefeciary as well. All the information were correct because they gave us our case number and to when the case were forwarded to the Consulate of Madrid. Right now still waiting for any notice if the consulate had recieved it or when they will send me the packet 3. (sent aug 13 from NVC to consulate) i emailed the consulate and replied that no case # in my name recieved and is incorrect and i have to contact NVC. I called NVC and the operator said the beneficiarys birthdate is incorrect and case # thus we have to send a copy of passport and wait for 20 days. Question: is it possible while waiting for the response of NVC and the consulate could send me the packet 3? Because i assume that they already recieved it its been 2 wks. Thanks

Hello there, im planning to change address or apartment on sept or Oct for some personal reasons. During visa interview could irequest visa pick up or delivered to my new address? Thank u so much... I would like to ask if your wife had a TB skin test during medical? Or only xray? I got TB vaccination since childhood so probably i would get positive result on the skin test and that would be another medical treatment if any .. Or only xray?
