  1. Nada! As an Ex-Contractor with a perfect score I can Say: A LEGAL Contractor has a License, permits, insurance and a Bond in your Case. The Bonding Agency is what your after here. If the Company is Not Legal. No Contract and word of mouth and a Verbal Agreement is Legal that hurts. If you have a signed Contract that goes furthur. The question is to me: Did you hire a Licensed, Bonded Contractor?

The Better Business Agency wont help unless you can prove they are Legal to Operate under a "Assumed Business Name" and State where business is conducted.

But, what you do have is contact phone numbers. Thats good for the Construction Contractors Board to FINE them and get you a POSIBLE REFUND.

You now must prove your a Victim of Illegal Construction Pratices and that can take time.

Please forward the BUSINESS CARD Information to me in it's Etirety. I will look.

    Tim

There is No Such Thing as a Legal Contract until signed by both parties.

Yeah I have the contact number and the email address and also she gave me a receipt that I paid her the 60% downpayment...

Do you have a contract or anything she signed?

    She gave me a receipt.....
