Brazilguy,
Sounds like you sent in good evidence, i am sure you will hear something soon, i only heard yesterday and my noa date was 6 july, i see yours is a little later than that, but i know how frustrating it is waiting and checking the mailbox everyday and being disappointed when there is nothing from USCIS.
Vermont seems to be moving now so fingers crossed for you and everyone else that is waiting.
Approval letter came in the mail today. These are the final dates if someone can please add me to the list for Vermont Service Center:
Date I-751 was sent: July 25, 2015
NOA1 date: July 28, 2015
Biometrics: August 28, 2015
Approval (NOA2 date): May 23, 2016
A heartfelt THANK YOU again to the VJ Family. It is absolutely invaluable being able to connect with people from around the world who are in the same boat as you. You don't have to worry when your case is taking really long or if you get a notification you don't understand because you immediately learn from various forums that there are many others going through the same thing as you and they can offer advice and encouragement. Not to mention the example forms that I followed step-by-step during each phase. Kudos to whomever created this site!!!
@AdetteAdette, we did the same thing i.e. ordered the tax transcripts in anticipation of an RFE.
Yippee yippee and see some of you at N400! :-D

Me too !
Just checked on line and my card is being produced yay!
NOA date 6 July 2015
We thought we would get an rfe as we did not send in transcripts only tax returns, we realised our error and ordered them ready to send when requested but luckily didnt need to. However we did send lots of really good evidence.
Will check back when card is received.
Good luck to everyone seems Vermont is moving now.
I Have not posted on here for quite a while but often check in, big thank you to everyone, this site is so helpful especially when i had problems with forms etc.

Thank you everyone, very kind of you to help.
I understand now that I don't need a visa to go into Canada, just passport and green card, the travel agent kept calling and was worried I wouldn't get back into USA, I explained to him about the green card etc and that I would be okay, but then it struck me if I would need a visa to get into Canada.
So thank you again, I can always count on people on visa journey.

Hi, hoping someone can help.
I am from the UK, lived here in USA for over 2 years and have a temporary green card, it runs out in August 2015, so still valid. Anyway the question is, my husband and I are taking a trip to Canada Niagara for 4 days in May, do I need a visa or will my passport and green card be okay, our travel agent is worried about me getting back into USA, I told him I have been to England a few times and used the green card without a problem, but it then occurred to me that can I actually get into Canada without a visa etc.
Thanking you all!!

I recently went home to visit my family and travelled with my green card. I made sure to book my ticket using my maiden name (same name as is on my passport) and brought my green card and marriage license. On my way back to the US the lady checking me in told me I couldn't travel because my green card and my passport names didn't match. I stared at her in shock for a minute until she said "well unless you have your marriage certificate" - I of course did and everything was fine.
Just make sure you bring all 3 things and you will be fine!
Thank you, I will be sure to do that.

I just received USCIS's welcome notice ..... officially permanent resident of the United States from August 27, 2013:joy:
Yes so did I. Now lets hope the green cards arrive safely on Tuesday and there are no mistakes on them.

Hi,
Can someone please confirm that I can travel with my passport which is in my maiden name and green card is in marriage name, I would book plane ticket in maiden name which is the same as passport. I would also take my marriage certificate.
I just got approved and am planning a trip back home.
Thank you

congrats to everyone who had good news this week!!!
Thank you, I hope you hear soon if you haven't already!
-
congratulations !!
-
Congratulations....its a really nice feeling!
-
Well, we got approved this morning and now we received a letter from USCIS saying it needs extra processing and to call them in six months if we do not hear from them. I don't think the right arm knows what the left one is doing lol
-
Thank you, We cannot wait to get the green card!
-
At last, just looked on the USCIS website and it says card in production. No interview, no RFE.
We did a service request by email on 19 July, heard nothing so we called them last Tuesday, we don't know whether the service requests helped or its just a coincidence. Either way we are so very happy. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the little bubble on the USCIS web site had changed, I checked our MSC number three times to make sure I had typed it in correctly.
Thanking everyone on here because I know for sure we would have got RFE/s if I hadn't found out important information on this site
Good luck to everyone waiting.

Our office is Philadelphia, and we filed in November. After two service requests we have just been approved. No interview, No RFE. So very relieved!
-
That's good and I hope it propels them to deal with your case... but they said the same thing to me and nothing happened within 15 days so I called back and they said to wait another 45 days! They said the NBC is not only behind with the cases, they are behind with the service requests (which i guess follows)... it's soooooo frustrating!
Yes it is frustrating, I am not expecting anything soon. I am sure we will call back in two weeks and get the same answer you did. I don't think the SR do any good, we just get our green cards when they are ready to give them to us.. At least we are not the only ones waiting. It seems to me a lot of people get them around the ten month mark! Good luck with yours, I hope we get them soon.

I am a November filer, priority date 19 November, We have not heard anything since doing biometrics in December. We put in E-request 19 July and told to wait 4 weeks and then to call them. Today, we called USCIS, (got through straightaway) A very nice lady said she would put in a service request for us and to wait 15 days and if we do not hear anything to call them back. So we will see.

Thank you but is it to the PO box and if so is okay to send it certified, will someone be at a PO box to sign for the package.
Many thanks
-
We are now ready to send in the AOS paperwork (k1) and I see we should send it to Chicago Lockbox address. There are two addresses listed a PO box and a regular type address.
Should we send it to the PO box, and if so, whats the best method to use?
Thank you

Thank you everyone, we are seeing a civil surgeon on Monday.
Big THANK YOU to you all, we would have sent the paperwork in incomplete, all your help is very much appreciated.

Okay thanks everyone.
But I understand I don't need another medical, so will a civil surgeon who doesn't know me be able to complete this form without me having another medical ?
Thanks
