30-60-90 rule in Student & Exchange Visitor Visas Posted April 29, 2012 Hello all, I've read a lot of stuff from this site, so i just registered now!! I got my F1 visa on 07/19/2011 while i was preparing for my marriage and got married on 08/08/2011 in my country. I did not know anything about 30-60-90. I came here 2 weeks later without my wife since she did not have a visa. She was later denied F2 on 221g, and i was asked to come in with her anytime i'm in my country. I just read about this rule today, please, Is this applicable to F1 and F2 as well? what do you advise?
