I was wondering if anyone has some suggestion or been through the same situation

My girlfriend is American citizen and I'm Australian, Ive visited her twice in US on Visa Waiver program and she has been to Australia once for a visit.

She has filed for K1 petition and it got approved in Jan 2012, due to unforeseen reason so far haven't been able to gather all the required documents I have recently filled and sent DS-230 but now seems like I dont have much time for medical checkup and Police records (fingerprint check)

I was wondering where do we stand according to this statement "Please note that you must be interviewed and have your visa issued within the four-month validity of your petition"
