Received letter from Senator and the only thing they said was that the United States Department of State (DOS) just informed him that the legth of time for additional AP varies from case to case and it cannot be waived...which I was just hoping to know why it was under investigation..not for the time but for the reason..so I guess I will just have to wait and see what they will say because am still waiting on the Embassy to respond my email requesting more info and asking for a second interview...its on God's hands now.

Hi, my fiance had his interview at the end of March..all went well and he was approved and he was told to come back to get his passport and to ge some information about his rights and expectations in the USA...when he goes back they didnt let him in and told him his file was not ready..and when i emailed them to see what happened..the consular said that it was on Administrative Processing...that they didnt know the time it would take..for longer review...so like in May I asked the congressman to check on my file and after a month and a half they said to the congressman that the file was under investigation for fraud....I was shocked!! I couldnt believe it...we gave all they needed..all the paperwork and even criminal background check were good..i have no idea what its going on...so now i requested a second interview and ask them to give me more information about the investigation..of why are we being investigated. They have not answered yet...It is really stressful that we cannot get at least a reason for any action they take...so i would sugest to you to check with your congressman of your state and see if they can get more info for you...cause if i didnt get the congressman to ask i would have never knows why was on AP...so at least something that can help you be at ease or at least for you to know what is happening..my opinion....

I never said in any way that I had petitioned two Arab men!! Haha! My ex is from Central America and he had been living here in Texas for a while...he is not ARAB!! I had 3 kids by my ex...and if I was doing any kind of scam with my ex..why in the world would I have 3 kids with him? Wouldnt that be cruel to have a child to suffer from a divorce situation? that would have been cruel...and more than that..why would I do such thing when that goes against my believes...when my purpose in life is to do the right things in Gods eyes? He watches everything I do so why would i do something like that? No...not scam or anything suspicious about that...I know I am doing all the way its supposed to be...I emailed the embassy and ask for more information about this investigation and that I am willing to provide any additional information that they need to prove to them that this relationship is real and even that if I have to go there again..I will do it if necessary. I also asked for second interview...so I hope they will answer me soon...I will be contacting the Senator also about this...but I do know that all is in Gods hands and He knows our hearts and our intentions...so I will do what I have to do and leave the rest to Him..

I mean my ex was not a resident when i met him. But he had been living here for a few years with his family. So when I say I fixed his papers that means that I submitted papers so he could be legal here since we got married and after a few years we got an interview an he got his papers as resident... i filed for my divorced in November of 2010 and I met him online on December 2010. We got engaged later in June.... My papers were filed correctly...I had an attorney and i went to court and it was signed by the judge...so an original copy was sent to the embassy. i had been separated from my ex for more than6 years before i filed for divorce...so i would not think that it would be that. would it?

He had told me that he had never married, never had another person ask for him, and I havent either...that its why its so confusing to me...if he had..he wouldnt even try to do this cause he knows they were going to see it anyways..so it wouldnt make any sense for him to tell me lies if he knew they would know anyways...I did was marrried before and i petitioned him but he was already in Houston...we got married and i fixed his papers...but later we got separated and divorced last year...I even filed for divorced before I met him...so i dont think that would even be considered as fraud...its very strange to me..I dont know if I should try to send them an email and ask if they can give me more info on what is going on..they probably wont..but it would be worth a try.

I had asked the congressman to check on my file since there was not response on the update of our file. It took the US Embassy in Algiers 1 month and a half to respond to them. The file had been put in AP after it was approved in the interview. So we wonder why it was put there and yesterday I received a letter from the congressman that our file was under fraud investigation. My hear felt to pieces to read this because our relationship is not fraudulent. I don't know for what reasons they are basing this investigation and thinking that is fraud. We had given them so much proof of bona fide...we talk everyday for hrs...and text him everyday...i see him in skype all the time...I have only visited once and i me his family and i spent two weeks in their home...I cannot go back since one of my daughters is sick with lupus and diabetes and lately she has been sick...so i sent a letter stating that...they didnt say that they needed more proof but they said fraud!! that is a really awful statement...i wish i knew why...

Does any one have any idea why would they put our file under fraud investigation? Please..someone give me something..cause I am so confused on what its happening!!

You know that is very sad and very hard, especially that he picked that day to tell you this...but you are so right about God knows best...and He will bless you with someone who will love you and who you will grow old with and will be with you in the good times and bad times...There is someone special for you and when the time comes it will be the perfect timing...you will see!!! I have been dumped. And what's even worse is that today is my birthday. He gave me excuses about his family was starting a business and he was the only one who could run it and someone here can make me happier and his family doesn't want him to come here. I think he has someone else but he insists that he doesn't. My heart is really broken. So I think I will be alone for awhile. What's crazy is that I wss reading messages from the beginning of this months and it was the opposite. I was the one telling him how hard this was and he was assuring me that it could work if we love each other. I'm just so sad. I'm too embarrassed to tell my family and friends. Everything was fine until he went their annual family vacation. He has been back since Friday and picks my birthday to break up with me. But God knows best. I hope I will soon find that person that he has made just for me.

Hello, my fiance (lives in Algeria) had his interview on March 29th and when the interview ended he was asked what did he expect of the result...and he said the best of course..they said that his visa was accepted and they gave him an appointment to go back on April 9th and get his passport and to get some informations about his duties and right in the USA and he traveled 5 hrs cause Algiers is far to him..when he gets there he was not even allowed to go in cause and they said to him that the appointment was a mistake that his file was not ready yet...I emailed the consulair and they said that his file was sent to Administrative Review and they didnt know the time it will take. I have no idea what happened...how can they make this mistake and didnt even let him know before he got there. It has been a month since the interview and there is no information that they can give me..which is very frustrating and depressing...we even had given them so many of our printed conversations and they said they didnt need it...so I dont know what is going on and why they said it was accepted and then they did this..his criminal background check was clean..i make enough to support him, he has no issues with anyone....i just dont understand...can anyone give me any insight of this or if have had any issues similar to mine?
