  1. hello everyone,

My US citizen friend is petitioning for his wife and 2 stepchildren but not the youngest yet. They listed all the names of the 3 children on all the forms. They are scheduled for an interview this Oct. My question is , is it mandatory or required to bring all the birth certificates of the 3 children including the birth certificate of the youngest child who is not going to the interview because he was not yet petitioned? thanks a lot.

Yeah...he/she need to bring all the birth certificate...that's one of the requirements.

  2. Great, thanks so much. Do you know or could you direct me to a list of vaccinations I need to have here in Australia?

    Thanks so much again.

    David

Yeah your absolutely correct but if your missing vaccine or MMR still you need a civil surgeon to fill out the I-693 upon filing the AOS here in USA...if you will not do that they will going to send you RFE..because mine before is incomplete, I need to go civil surgeon.

  3. How will i know that my papers has been received by NVC? or if the manila embassy received it already?

    Thanks :)

You can call them, follow up everytime...that's what I did before....but if you can wait,,,it's ok,but all I know, once the petition has been approved you have 4 months if I'm not mistaken to process and go for the interview!Hope you will pass the interview,,,, and do it on the next level of your journey here in USA..

  4. Hi Everyone,

I am waiting for my K1 visa and will be adjusting my status once I enter the US and get married.

I will have already done my medical in Australia first and I am wondering if someone can tell me what the procedure is for the medical when I am adjusting my status once I am in the US. I know I will need my vaccines for anything I do not have but I would have completed my initial physical and medical here in aus so I am wondering are there any additional blood tests or examinations that I will need to do once adjusting my status or will it just be a matter of getting my immunizations as all tests etc would have been completed?

    Thanks in advance.

    David

hi! hope It will be helpful...if your K1...upon arrival here you get married with your fiancee, about the medical you need to get the initial medical you made in australia, It's worksheet, and look for a civil surgeon assigned in the USCIS here in USA, tell to them your fiancee visa they going to fill up the I-693 for you, show your worksheet, they know already what is your lacking, they might give you tv test, physical again,IMR I paid 300dollars depends on the civil surgeon,,after you finished that, they going to give you the close enveloped,,,you include this on your package AOS.GODBLESS & GUDLACK!

  6. Hello vjs!

I was looking at the forms I have to fill after my noa2 and I have this odd question. I know that we can have another piece of paper attached with the application but must it be handwritten or typed from computer? For example there is not enough space for the adresses of the parents or the name of the colleges.

Hi! It must be clear if you will type it on the computer, because It might not to understand your hand writing,, capslock off or , download adobe reader, it must better if latest foxit reader..gudlack!

  7. NOA2--your husband will receive 4-7 business days this is the hard copy for approval

Wait 2-3 weeks, your approved petition will go to nvc first, send to mnl embassy, If you doesn't receive any letters call the NVC ask your case number, if you get your case#...you can now start to pay your visa, after a day you cAn schedule your interview already through online,,,a week before your interview go for medical...You might get your hard copy or not, coz mine I didn't receive any hardcopy...Gudlack & Godbless!!!

  9. Thank you to all my VJ family out there for assisting me thus far and all those in need on this visa journey. My you be rewarded with endless blessing inshallah ( God willing). My fiancé received his visa in hand on September 17th Alhamdulillah (All Praise is due to Allah). Quick question, what’s next??? Once my fiancé arrives in the U.S., can we get married right away or do we have to fill out some kind of paperwork before we actually get married? Here we go again on the visa journey rollercoaster. :)

    Thanks in Advance,

    Ba nana’s

Congrats! you can marry right away...after you get your marriage certificate prepare for the AOS that's mean adjustment of status..

    Requirements:

    1. go to a civil surgeon assigned by uscis. The surgeon will fill up that one,I-693, Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record, bring your copy of medical from her/he's country, maybe 300 dollars it depends with the surgeon.

    2. payment for aos more the 1000 dollar check the website

3, I-94 departure card copy, passport copy, visa copy, marriage cert, nso certi, cenomar.

    4. I-1864, w-2, incme tax return, payslip, savings

    5. I-765 for employment authorization

and many more just search the other requirements!!!Gudlack & Godbless!

  10. My sister and I both married guys from Yemen and filed the i130 for our husbands on the same day (August 1,2011).

Could this be the reason both of our cases still have not recieved a NOA2?

    Is this a red flag?

    Thanks to any repliers.

why it's quite long....better to call always & follow up..or check your wah number at www.uscis.gov..because sometimes you cannot receive letters, your neghbors keep it, or their places so far...I'm fiancee visa but I didn't receive any letters too,we just called up...Godbless with your journey.

  11. She just bring all needed documents in her interview, it must be original....remember the DS-156,& 157...I'm not remember with the two form, but there is a question on there that you need to fill up....other names, surnames! you need to state the name, surname when your birth....because when she enter the interview at the embassy, they will going to bring up those 3 forms...Gudlak & Godbless

  12. Did you file your second petition already?or your planning to file it again? don't forget your evidences such as pictures both of you, emails, g-325 A both of you, letter of intent assuring that you will marry her within 90 days of her arrival, remmitances,if you have engagement ring receipt, phone calls, airline tickets, passport stamp, webcam pictures it should be originals, make copies of what your sending for future preferences....and most especially the questions on how did you met, make sure it jives for your first file.Gudluck & Godbless on your journey....
