  1. Things not looking good for us because of this passport renewal glitch.

Hey lady, sorry I have been MIA for so long! So, passport stuff that your and my fiancé had to go through sucks big time, but it can still work. Umar's sister actually had to renew hers while her visit visa application was processing, but they only need it for a certain amount of time (I don't think they need it the whole time they actually have it). Has anything changed? How is interview prep going? Don't lose hope! I know it's easy to do, but don't do...

  2. The interview date is finally set! February 26 ~ inshallah ~ What a long journey this has been.....

Best of luck! Tell him to breathe deeply and just DO IT. And look over the checklist of materials over and over again, make sure everything it competed EXACTLY as requested :-) . It will be fine, insha Allah.

Hey lady, suggestion: when you get your NOA2, call USCIS and just starting screaming out of sheer joy at them. No matter who you end up talking to. lol. I did, and it felt AMAZING. I was outside of a store, and couldn't wait to call, and they were like, "congratulations", and I was like, "AAAaAAAAHHHH!"

      ...

      Hehe.

  7. Just sent in evidence in response to an RFE received in the mail; does anyone know if a lot of information should be sent about me, the petitioner (this is for form I-129f)? Most of the documents sent were more concerning my fiance, proving he entered the country (e.g. a color copy of his student visa) and other documents.

But I included both of our official transcripts from college (where we met), as well as a copy of the University Commencement Program (with both names highlighted). Thoughts?
