Nothing needs to be notarized, not even the birth certs?
-
Thanks guys!

We are just about to send in our petition. In our letter of intent we stated, boarding passes, passport stamps, photos together and with my family, western union statements, cards and bank statements. Is it ok to send copies of all those things and not originals?

Hey everyone, does anybody in here know if Sydney consulate allows for self sponsoring or will we definitely need a co-sponsor?
-
How do I get to the regional forums? I too am very interested to know if the Sydney Australia consulate allows for self sponsoring?
-
Ok thanks heaps for clearing all that up guys. The only thing I'm left worrying about now is my petitioner USC fiancé neglected to keep her boarding passes from the previous 2 times she came out here. If we log in to expedia.com it has 'completed' trip information available to print. Would this suffice for proof of the trip as well as passport stamping coinciding with the said dates? Surely that would be ok... ?

Did you guys send those pictures in with your initial i129 petition or at a later date?
When did you send the other evidence? Or did you just bring it to the interview?
-
Thanks everyone it really is confusing this whole process.
-
Hi guys, sorry if I've caused any problem. But to clarify, I was aiming to send a few photos with the initial petition. My consulate will be the Sydney one. I'll be taking other evidence with me to the consulate at interview date yeh? More photos, passport stamps, flight itineraries, letters etc... Will the Sydney consulate accept these when the interview happens?
-
Thanks!
Do you have to send the other evidence stated in the 'letter of intent' as well with the inital I-129?!
-
Dumb question I know... But how many photos is enough for evidence? We have a lot of photos and they all show us both in the photo together. Just don't wanna send too many or not enough. Thoughts?!
-
Not 100% sure but I'm pretty certain those AFP checks are valid for 1 year. Call them and double check.
-
Thank you! rather than blow up another thread I might just ask this in here; but how many photos do you think is sufficient? The Photos we have are photos of us together in person, same place, same time. Maybe 5-10 ?
-
Thanks everyone, you're all very helpful do the copies have to be notarized or anything? I will include her bc and passport, as there are numerous stamps in there that will be evidence too.
-
Hey guys
At what point will the uscis get to see the ORIGINAL of the USC's passport and BC ? Because obviously they will see mine at the interview, so I'm unsure when they will see hers? Thanks

We have the same problem but with places of residency, my fiancé the USC / petitioner can't recal he exact places of residency for the whole of the last 5 years. She can recall the last 3 at best... Will this matter too much? She has vague ideas but couldn't be 100% could this be a problem?
-
Thanks!
-
Hey guys
My USC fiancé is having trouble remember her places of residency for the last 5 years as the form asks... Do you honestly think it would be matter if you were not 100% with the months that you lived at a place? Is that something they will look over with a fine tooth comb?

Thanks so much, that helps and is such a relief!

Hello again, sorry to bother everyone again, but I do have a small question... My k1 case is pretty complicated so I've spent a whole lot of time looking at the later end of what happens in this process and I've come to the realization I don't really know much about the start of it.... Does my USC fiancé once we have all the forms filled out... Physically have to attend an interview or make an appointment to hand them in... Or does she post them in? Does she have to attend a uscis centre at any point? Thanks guys! And girls!

Hey guys
Does anybody know the wait times for when my USC fiancé is ready to file our petition?
-
Sorry, I read that last post wrong... I'm sick and wasn't thinking clearly lol all good I understand you meant me and not her. Thanks!
-
If my USC fiancé has visited Australia on the vwp is that considered 'living' here?
-
So the USC doesn't need to prepare a police certificate ?
Money order?!

Hey everyone, well we are just about ready to send in our petition for the k1. Can anybody suggest to me the best way to get them the $340, a money order is the way to go? And is it to be paid to ' US Department of Homeland Security' ? Thanks in advance!
