As far as I am aware you need to submit that printed copy where the pick up location, your passport number, name, barcode, etc detials are mentioned so they can deliver the passport at your pick up location and then you can pick it up from there.

Thats for spouse visa and for k1 visa as long as we register ourself Embassy can access that information from profile and document delivery option. i called to Consulate directly and that guy also give me the help desk # which is VFS helpline # and they said the same thing that this is immigrant visa so we can't predict or we don't have enough information about passport and visa. when embassy will send out passport you will get email or text msg.

in Ustraveldoc website i select the pick up location. But in Fiance visa we didnt get any registration confirmation print out(barcode one) bcos we pay the visa fee at the time of an interview so we can't pass the step 8 about payment option but at that time VFS Team said that as long as you add the pick up address that would be fine.

its been 15 days since my fiance interview at Mumbai Consulate and the result is also positive that he got approved but no any update about passport and visa.

tried all the source to get update but no news(emails to VFS, Chat and calls to VFS and also send the passportustraveldoc email address to track passport but getting the error msg PLEASE ENTER VALID PASSPORT NO OR UID :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

yeah i read your suggestion last week and so Monday my fiance went there to pick up passport from Ahmedabad but they don't have it.

i am trying that one everyday too and got the reply said PLEASE ENTER VALID PASSPORT # i dnt get it why it is not showing any activities eventhough i tried to send the passport # in different way like capital letter and all different way but still no result!!!!!

but i confimed that passport # is right because when we call to VFS they ask passport # and they can pull the right info for us.

Hello all

My fiance has an interview on 5th oct at Mumbai Embassy and the officer said it will take 4 business days to get his passport and today is 12th day after interview and we still didn't get passport and visa.

i called DOS and they said that he got visa (thats good to know that our case is not under AP) but they can't track passport.

me and my fiance usually called to VFS every other day to find out for passport but got the same reply that it is still in Embassy.

My fiance also went to nearest VFS office to find out but they also said the same reply that they don't have it when it will be ready we will get notification.

Passport track link doesn't work for my fiance when i enter his passport # it says ENTER VALID PASSPORT #

does anybody have the same issue like we do?????

My fiance got approved on 5ht oct But still there is another process waiting after enter into USA. please guide us for further process.

1) how soon we can apply for SSN? does it really need to get marriage Cert. ?

2) does he need SSN for AOS application? if yes how long does it take to get SSN and when we can apply for that?

3) can somebody explain how we can get Marraige Cert.? this is stupid que but i am really not familier with the process although i will go to the county to get more info and even we want to do court marriage first so we can apply for AOS as soon as possible.

i am in the same boat but we have k1 visa category in w hich we dont have that kind barcode printed confirmation all you need is to just register and enter the information about your passport and delievery document information.

best option is to call VFS they will guide you.

this site is not working for me too!!!!! i am guessing they might updating that website as it creates lots of confussion for immigrant and non-immigrant visa and for that their call center would be bussy tooo to ask que related that. !!!!!!

All other info i understand but this last sentence i couldn't understand....

i asked to that lady that what kind of confirmation registration i need to print that out to show to embassy that we make an account to that website and register ourself so she told me we don't need to print out anything from that website. once you update your information about your passport, home address, contact information, doucment delievery information it would be avilabe for embassy too when they needed. they just want us to update our profile information and document delievery information thats it.

i called again to VFS and the lady gave me ans with the confident that this new process is for NON-IMMIGRANT VISA only the new changes is that we don't need to submit all the docs prior to interview at VFS but have to carry all of those at interview time and just need to update profile and document delievery info into that website but no need to print out anything as a proof bcos embassy has already that info !

My fiance recently got his PCC from Reginal passport office but they need Local PCC (AKA known as PVC) before issue the reginal PCC but he just need to get one from Gujarat and to get lOcal PCC it takes 15 days due to absence of the officer otherwise it dont take that long!!!!

I told you in my last post but I think you have not read it.

You have to deposit Demand Draft Fees at Consulate office only.

Please reach at Consulate office along with your documents and Demand Draft Fees on your interview date.

Please be with all kind of documents because your are in K1 Visa. That is very sensitive Visa category. You must have Email Logs, Chat Transcripts, Photos (Please do not include any kissing or wedding kind of photos in album), Phone records, tickets, Post Market Letter & Envelope, Wedding Plans in USA, Dating Emails etc...but do not present all these things until consular ask about this.

You will face first the Indian Employee at counter who will ask you for documents from Petitioner side like ; Tax, Play Stuff, W2, Employer Letter and your Medical Report. That't it and then he or she will ask you to go another counter to deposit the K1 Visa fees and come back with receipt. He/She will attach the receipt of fees along with your document and will pass it to US Consular. After sometime your token number will again pop up for real interview. This you should be prepared in real. Okay dear?

so for immigrant visa the process is still same to pay the visa fee at the time of an interview. yup we have all these above proofs and thats true we are not going to show all of them unless they ask him to show.

I called to new OFC/vfs? and they told me that I can pay visa fee at New Delhi Embassy by cash at the time of interview however this registration process at new website is only for Non immigrant visas where interview fee needs to be deposited at any Axis bank branch in India. I guess we only need to select passport pick up center and no further steps as of now.

you can also call them and ask for Mumbai Embassy.

i called VFS Mumbai yesterday night and got more confuse as she started saying that i pay first and then schedule appointment and further she asked me that did my fiance get any notificaiton email that now process is change and he has to schedule appointment by this website? i said no and then she said that if your fiance didnt get that kind of email then he has interview on this schedule day. but felt like she wasn't have that much exp also about this new process.

so what kind of registration confirmaiton we need to bring at the time of an interview? i filled out passport delievery info but as i couldn't go further from FEE PAYMENT SECTION there is no any barcode pdf file or confirmaiton which make me confuse!!!

I am having same problem while visa fee tab. But I guess we all should wait until Oct 1st as Exchange Rate is now 58.00INR per USD and it is going to be lower after Oct 1st.

so what you are going to do? can we carry Demand Draft or we have to pay online by one of those option and then put the receipt # so we can get confirmation for registration to bring with the interview time.

At the top it will show type of visa if you click that it will have two options as K1/K2 and K3/K4... also check whether you have selected immigrant visa process..

but that one show in diffrent place. i selected that one and process untill FEE PAYMENT and then it ask for RECEIPT NUMBER so did you pay already for visa fee?

in the above website what category suppoesed to be choosed for k1 visa? my fiance interview is on the 5th OCT and i was trying to register for that but when it comes to choose visa category there is no K1 visa category to choose so does it fall under IR1 /CR1?????? i dnt want to ended up choosing the wrong categroy may it creat more issue at the time of interview.

sorry for not having enough info in my post but my fiance interview is on the 5th oct and we have all of the doc except PCC which is under process and now this is the time to submit docs but as after 26th sep it is going to change so i heard that Mumbai / Ahmedabad VFS office are not going to accept documents and we have to register online to that website to get confirmation so they can send my fiance passport to the specific VFS location which we choose. (we didn't receive packet 4 hardcopy so we have email print out for an interview letter)

as after 26th sep process will be change to submit documents prior to an interview so we need to register online to the website. i make an account in there and put went to UPDATE PROFILE where i put my fiance info and i tried to save it but it doesn't change anything. could somebody please explain after you make an acct what should we actually need to do specailly for K1 Visa category!!!!

wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww this process is already stress us enough and now it is going to change at the right time when my fiance need to submit paperworks to VFS but after reading all of these i am little confused that what if my fiance submit paperworks to other VFS location does is still routed via Mumbai VFS(sounds stupid que but my fiance is from Gujarat and he will submit paperworks at Ahmedabad VFS office so i guess it wouldnt be that much issue in our case. Although we prefer to send visa in courier so they might send that to Ahmedabad VFS office i guess ? please advice us!!!!!

I do not think VFS will accept documents more then once, and it is not wise to do so. Embassy asks to deposit paperwork well before the interview date so that case can be reviewed fairly. Make sure to deposit all proofs of relationship to VFS.

Embassy will ask for PCC during interview. No harm in that.

we have all of the documents to submit at VFS but only not sure that we can submit PCC because next week my fiance will apply to get PCC and we don't know how long it will take but as you said that we need original at a time of interview which make me feel relax.

yeah i told my fiance to prepare small little album in which we will put some of our enagagments pics in it and it was held it in our house so it doens't look overwhelmed but ya it is meaningless to show them the whole album.
