  1. i would wait to have the visa appt first in juarez, but you are in charge of scheduling the appt for biometrics at ACS and also pick a DHL office. that should all be explained in the email you get from NVC when you get your appt assigned.nvc closed my case and 4 business says later i had my appt for juarez. good luck, things are really gonna start moving along!

  2. Hi there everyone.

Was kind of wondering about the packet my fiance "should" be receiving, do they usually get it, and if so how long does that take in you all's experiences, and is there anything really all that important in there. Oh and to fill out the DS-260, says we need an invoice number but on the letter the NVC sent, it doesnt contain one. Is that somewhere else?

As for the medical, can it ONLY be done in CDJ prior to an interview? at the 2 listed locations? and as for the ASC biometrics, can this be done elsewhere earlier on? like in Guadalajara?

    Appreciative of any responses :)

^ is correct, you can call NVC and ask them to give that information to you, its much faster to call them then send an email.

And yes you have to do the medicals in Juarez and they recommend you show up a few days early to get all that done. My appt will be on a monday so ill be in juarez the thursday before to get that done. the ACS biometrics can be done at any of the locations but my lawyer personally recommended me to get that done in Juarez. I think you will be fine if you do it in Guadalajara but thats just what my lawyer recommended for me. Good luck with everything!! ^_^

  3. yes book la quinta hotel and when u book online use the code HOMEDL to get $10 off per night. I have done my research and its the #1 recommended hotel to stay at in juarez for consulate appointments. i would book it asap to ensure u get a room, good luck! :)

  4. I am trying to make my ACS appt and pick a DHL office online. My husband is the petitioner for my ir1 visa. i select immigrant visa, immediate family, then mexico city for acs appt and it says; Visa information for Immigrant Scheduled by NVC - Immediate Family-sponsored at the Tijuana Consulate can be found below. How do I change the consulate? my interview is not in Tijuana, its in Juarez, anyone know how to change that or should i just continue to follow the steps after this appears?
