How many months between the approved case from NVC to interview approved??

Case was approved on 5/21 and took 17 days to get interview date.

:dance: :dance: My wife visa got approved today. She was in and out in 15 min total. She will get her visa in 1-2 weeks. Thanks everyone here to help me out though the process, specially Saylin. Hope to get visa by next week and POE on the following week.

yes its really very odd that 3 of us dined with same code.I am still in shock and still crying my husband is in action mode he hire a lawyer and submitted the paper work to the senator as well .You know we also love each other very much and now its hard for us to live separately home means every thing to me .may God help him and EAbbas thanks for helping me plz be in touch that give me strength in this tough time.i miss my husband very much.still cant collect my self.and still crying while writing all this.

NVC.... Please send us interview date.. its June already.

By looking at timelines, most people who got their interview date assigned are the ones with case closing date 5/11 or earlier which is second week of may which makes me believe what NVC usually say about second week of month. or am i just thinking too much.

Called NVC. They said June interview dates have been filled and ask me to call back in 3rd week of june to find out for july dates.

Yes i am calling DOS and NVC both but I've found that calling DOS is much faster compare to NVC and they have same information. DOS is telling me that NVC is waiting for interview dates from Islamabad embassy.

First off, thanks for all the anniversary well wishes! Had a great day! Went to Sioux Falls (big city about an hour and a half away). Had lunch at Olive Garden, went to Best Buy (every geek's dream ), watched Dark Shadows (Johnny Depp ) at an awesome theater, went to PetCo and PetSmart to look at fish ( I want to get another one now ), and then had supper at the Outback Steakhouse. Awesome day

July is very realistic. For Canadians, it's usually two months from case complete to interview date, so July is when it'll likely be.

Ok so I will have my wife send my ORIGINAL birth certificate along with the other civil docs to NVC and I will definitely get them back, correct?

Dont forget the original marriage certificate (nikah nama) + english translation and also original police certificate.

For my civil documents such as my Birth Certificate, where could I get it certified from? My wife(the petitioner) has my original.

You need to send the original. Are you going to mail document to NVC from pakistan or is your wife going to send documents from here on your behalf (Agent).

Finally, Just called NVC to find out that our case has been completed today.

So my packages were delivered on 5/15 and i am now calling nvc everyday. Does their system show if package has been received and under review. They told me that the only time system show status is when they are done reviewing package.

Well when i called on Tuesday they didn't have it and when i called back on wednesday they said my case was complete and then I got interview email on thursday. So it all happened very quickly.

Quick question. I've paid both fees on friday and today my bank posted ACH Processing for both payment. NVC show "In Process". I've printed both cover sheet on friday when i made payment. Should i wait payment to appear as "Paid" or can i send it now since i've both cover sheets.

I think i was too fast to ask this question. Got Paid status around 12:45 and already sent AOS and IV . Thanks everyone.
