SO I just wanted to know if anyone has called the NVC and asked if there interview was assigned they said "NO, you missed the deadline for August"? BUT still received an interview date?

My Husband and i were so over whelmed when we seen how much paperwork there was, we did not want to risk filling anything out wrong:( I found this site after the fact, I just wish they would answer my questions, i mena thats what i paid them to do. I cant believe it takes 5 mnths or more to get approved, Im going too AZ next weekend so hopefully ill be able to cross the border.. Has anyone had any problems? Any advice???

I have a few questions maybe you all can help me! I am from Canada and my Husband lives in Arizona,US. After we got married in dec 2011 we decided to hire a lawyer, which is going well... its going lol. Ive emailed my lawyer asking questions but there not very specific as to what the order is for a CR-1 spouse visa is. Can you please help? Also does it really take 180 days for our file to be approved?
