  1. Hello..don't worry you will receive an email from Abudhabi Embassy stating the date of interview and other requirements just forward that email to your fiancee... for the payments also she will pay in the NBAD BANK .. 600DIRHAMS... and another payment during the interview... Goodluck

Thanks for the help. Am I going to get any instructions on paper or I just have to keep an eye for email instructions?

Should I pay the 600DIRHAMS right away or wait for the instructions to come first?

  2. Hi everyone,

my fiancee is in Dubai. We got our NOA2 more then a month ago on 8.13.2012. I sent an email to the Abu Dhabi embassy shortly after that asking what is next and if we had an interview date. They told me her interview was on December 23rd 2012. Which seems like a long time but it looks like Abu Dhabi consulate are a little slower then other consulates.

The problem is that my fiancee has not received any package from the embassy. I am not sure when and where I have to pay for the interview. When I need to schedule the medical exam and so on. The website of the embassy seems a little poor. Can not really find whatever information I need.

Does any one have any idea on what should I do next?

    Thanks for the help!

  3. I also used my passport for verification of citizenship. I only copied the firs few pages with all the info and the one with the stamps from my travel. Nothing else. It worked like a charm. No RFE or anything else.

I do not think the validity matters as long as it is still valid. Why are you worried about it? It is valid until 2014. Don't make yourself go crazy by making it too complicated. Everything is really simple. Just follow the instructions and you will be fine. Immigration are people too. They understand whats going on.

    Good luck to you!

  4. Hello everyone,

I have a problem. My fiancee is in Dubai but she is originally from Philippines. I sent an email to the embassy and they just told me that they have scheduled her interview for December 23rd 2012. To me that is awfully long time. I was wondering if I request her application to be transferred to the Manila embassy is a good idea? She has to go to Philippines anyways after she is done in Dubai.

Has anyone had that experience in the past? Do you know how long it takes to transfer the application from Abu Dhabi to Manila? Whats the waiting time for getting and interview in Manila? I would really appreciate any feedback on the topic. Thank you in advance!

  5. Hello fellow Vjers,

I have a questions my fiancee's Birth Certificate and CENOMAR. BTW she is from Philippines residing in Dubai.

She has her Birth Certificate which is in Tagalog and English but it is not authenticated. Also we just ordered the CENOMAR certificate online. I was wondering if she needs to authenticate those for the interview in the Abu Dhabi US Embassy? I read somewhere that it is not necessary for the US Embassy but I can not find where exactly it was, so I am trying to confirm. Thank you very much in advance!

  6. Hi everyone,

I really appreciate all the work that everyone is doing in this great website and all the valuable information there is. Initially I posted my topic in another section of the forum but I did not get any replies so I am going to try my luck here.

I am working on my fiance's I-129 papers. I plan to have everything finished in about 3 more days. There is only a couple of things that I am worried about:

    1. She is originally form the Philippines but she works and lives in Dubai at the moment. On the I-129f form, Part B, field 2, what address should I put? Her address in Dubai or her home address in the Philippines. Also the address in Dubai is the one of her company's office. She gets all her mail there. She is not allowed to receive mail at her real address. She live in big building like dorms. The company provides all sleeping accommodations.

Also where should I plan to have her go to an interview? In Dubai or the Philippines. She lives in the Dubai all year long and goes back to the Philippines only for vacation. Does any one have an experience with that kind of situation?

    2. She does not have any records of vaccinations. I could not really figure out if she needs to have the vaccinations for sure or it is optional.

Thank you very much in advance to anyone that could give me some information on my problems.
