Last night I got an email from NVC with my interview date! I was super happy and even started to cry. 3 months of going through NVC processing, crazy!

Paid IV, got Paid status, mailed packet today...7 lbs. Nope, did not front load at USCIS but did at NVC stage, just correspondence and highlighted phone records for one year mainly. Before you ask why...MENA country. Overnight USPS was going to be around $70 USD. So I forwarded Priority Mail which will get there on Monday...$24.00.

My job is done unless I get RFE. Praying everything they needed and asked for is included. I went over this packet and meticulously recorded every piece of paper.

I guess we will know in about a week. Where is a fingers cross emoticon when you need one? I also need one that pats itself on the back. I'm proud of myself!

Hi Vj Members, I need help from anybody who has requested police certificate from Norway. please what are the steps involved in getting it. Since my spouse is no longer there, I know I have to write them. But I don't know what is involved, like how much it cost,etc. Please my Norwegain Vj members and other members that have requested police caertificate from there, please help me out. Hi Vj members, I filed i129 couple of weeks after filing i130. At the time of the filing, I knew nothing about Vj website and they members. My i130 got approved on the 5th of June. At this point, I thought USCIS will stop working on my i129. Well, I am wrong. Today the 13th of june, I got a REF for i129. I called USCIS to withdraw my i129. The lady told me to write CSC in Laguna Niguel CA where my case is located. My fellow Vj members what should I do? Just write them like she said or ignore the REF? please I need u guys advice. Thanks

Getting a Nigerian Police Certificate only takes a matter of hours. The price varies 5,000 to 9,000. We paid 14000, because I wanted my husband to keep one with him. The cert. is valid for only 3 months. You can request it now, but it is probably better to wait until NVC has your petition. There is the address

Hi Vj members!We got approved on 6/5/12. My question is do we request for Nigeria police clearance now? I don't know how long it is good for that is why I am asking. Also,if anybody has request police clearance from Norway? If so, what is the process. How long is it good for? Thanks guys in advance.
