I know how frustrating it is.. But at the end everything is worth it... I´m kindda down because I´ve seen that ppl who are from Islamic countries are being placed in AP (administrative processing) for over 10 months and even more.. And my fiance is just one of them and imagine we still haven´t rcvd our NOA2 yet.. But I´ll go visit him next month for 2 months inshallah and I know everything will be better... You will be receiving ur NOA 2 pretty soon I´m sure.. Just try not to keep much track of time or u´ll feel desperate.

I would really like to know an answer because it´s frustrating to don´t know what´s going to happen after NOA2 and the interview.... And once again thank you

When I was doing my application for the K-1 I didn´t have my birth certificate but I read somewhere that guided me through the process of this visa that sending all passport copies were ok. I would really appreciate someone helping out here?? I am desperate as I already filed my petition and now I am stressed thinking whether they will ask for it or my passport will be ok.

Thank you very much for your encouraging message.. Indeed I am planning to visit him in UK for my Birthday.. But I know now about the AP cuz he is from Pakistan and that made me even more depressed... God has a reason for everything... But sometimes can´t understand how all this happened!

The pain is terrible, but do have Skype and Webcam. Instead of quitting, SAVE your money and travel to him as often as you can (you will need those proofs anyway that you met and continue to have a relationship after you NOA1).

I have made trips back to the Philippines (7500 miles one way from San Diego) for a 3 day weekend trip (people think I am crazy for wasting money, but when you miss someone that much, money is less important).

Save money. Webcam each day. Think of your happy future. It is all worth it in the end. Don't do anything that will mess up the K1 process.

Well, thank you everybody for your opinions.. I just felt this was what I was supposed to do because he didn´t adapt to my other country due to language issues and of course culture.. Now I just moved here to New York and thought of applying for him because statistics say it will take about 6 months in total for the process to be ready.. I just started to work here and I feel lonely without family or friends and specially without him... About the tax returns I will do an affidaivit of support and somebody will be backing me up.. Just want to know if it would be possible to move back to my country ¨Costa Rica¨ till the process is done and while he is approved because I know it does take a while and I am not sure how long I really want to be here on my own.

you're kidding right? You are desperate after a month, yet those who have been waiting way longer are not? If you can't wait 6 months, how much of a chance do you think your relationship really has?

Today has been 1 month and 4 days since I rcvd the NOA1 and I am going crazy thinking how much longer this will take because I´ve seen ppl taking up to a year.... I am very desperate now thinking what should I do whether I can move or simply just continue working and waiting for any reply for them. I hope this process won´t take much longer. =(

We were hoping to get it done by that time.. But anyway if it´s not done by July or August I will go and stay with him in UK till it´s done.. Because I was told between 5 and 6 months.. But if longer than that I won´t be able to stay here without him =(.. Thank u for ur response though..

If there are no issues or an RFE (Request for further evidence" you will get your NOA2 notice of approval in about oh 4 to 5 months. S its a waiting game now. Go look at the guides http://www.visajourn.../content/k1flow to get familiar.

You did mean USCIS sent to Vermont Service Center you sent to the lockbox address correct>

Yes, I sent it to the Vermont Service and they rcvd it on March 19th and then sent the NOA1 on March 22nd.. And now the painful waiting =(

Hi.. as everyone here I applied for my fiance he is in UK and after a lovely story we got engaged and we are really dying to be with each other soon as I miss him soooo much!! They rcvd my application for K-1 visa on March 19th and they sent the NOA1 on March 22nd and now I am waiting for additional information.. I sent everything to the Vermont Ctr and I don´t know what I should expect next.. Can someone help me??
