      @ random1981 yes I have been tracking passport on https://www.vfs-usa.co.in/applnforms/trackyourpassport.aspx because I have deposited paperwork on Sep 22nd. Status changed when embassy sent passport out for delivery. You may also track passport by calling/online chatting/email as mentioned in below link.
