  1. I agree. I believe you sent more than required. I just submitted my husband's N-400 application as well and we haven't received confirmation yet. It  showed that they received his application on January 3rd but the check was not cashed yet and no email or text notification yet. You'll be all right. If they sent you an RFE, then just provide the necessary document. Simple as that.

  2. I called USCIS today and the lady whom I talked to said she sent a service request saying we haven't received my husband's biometric screening appt yet, and that to give them 15 days to process the request. She mentioned that normally we should have received the biometric screening appt within 30 days after receiving the extension letter. Hoping that my husbands receives his biometric screening appt already.

  3. We moved last year and we were not aware that we have to file AR-11 and I-865 for change of address. I just submitted AR-11 online for my spouse. I'm mailing in I-865 form tomorrow. Right now, I am preparing my husband's I-751. Should I add a copy of confirmation of AR-11 on the evidence?

Also, I just need your input regarding the documents we are turning in.

Here is the list of evidence of marriage and ongoing relationship:

    - Copy of green card

    - 2014 Tax Return Transcripts

    - 2014 Tax statement w/ W2s

    - Deed of Trust

    - life insurance letter

    - joint bank statement

    - employee benefits showing beneficiaries

    - car insurance

    - car title on both of our names

    - utility bills on our names

    - pictures of us with our families

Should I submit our 2013 tax statements too?

    Thank you in advance.

  4. stop worrying. next time just be more careful on what you are sending them because whatever you send them goes to your file. now, i don't think they will deny you just because of that. chances are they may not even read it knowing you said you sent almost 150 pgs of emails, skype etc. When i sent my |-129F petition for my fiance who is now my husband, i only sent them few emails (the very first email we sent each other and the last ones). Do not overwhelm them by sending too many papers that they don't need. Pictures of you two and with your families, plane tickets, passport stamps will prove more that you've been together.

  5. i had the same problem before. my husband and i NEVER received the hardcopy of NOA2 as they call it here on visajourney. but our petition process continued. our case was forwarded to NVC then to the embassy but we never got the hardcopy of NOA2 (notice of approval form). people say you need it for the beneficiary's AOS ( adjustment of status) but you know what... we did not submit that form when we applied for my husband's AOS. what we did.. we set up an appointment via infopass to speak with an immigration officer and he told us that the notice of approval form is not that highly important as long as he has the passport stamps showing his entry to the U.S.

what we did for my husband's AOS is that... we sent a letter saying "we never received the hardcopy of the notice of approval but we received an email notification saying our petition was approved". then we sent them a copy of the email and then a copy my husband's passport entry stamps and a copy of the letter we got from NVC saying they received our case and that it is approved. Guess what? we just got a letter yesterday saying my husband's AOS is approved and his greencard will follow within the next three weeks. so yah, don't worry too much about not receiving NOA2 hardcopy as long as your petition is moving and getting processed on your fiance'/fiancee's end.

  6. my husband and i had our interiew for AOS today. the lady who interviewed us just asked us the basic questions such as our name, date of birth, address, when and where we got married, name of our parents, how long we knew each other, etc. My husband and i got so prepared for the interview that we brought everything they asked us to bring to the interview. we even prepared ourselves to be asked very personal/private questions about us such as when and where did we go for honeymoon, when was the last time we had sex, what is the color of our tooth brush, etc; however, the lady never asked us those questions. i prepared a new I-864 but the lady said that the one they have on the file is already approved so we did not have to give them another i-864. My husband also did his I-693 because they said we need to bring that to the interview but the lady who interviewed us said the medical checkup he had overseas is still vaild eventhough it's been exactly one year already since all was clear and he has no medical issues. however she was willing to review my husband's new I-693 and when she did she found out that the doctor forgot to sign it. she told us that it is not an issue at this time since my husband's previous medical record is still okay. so what we are told to do is have the I-693 sign by the doctor and make a letter saying we want to include it to our i-485 file then send it to their office so at least they have a copy of my husband's medical record done by US CIS approved doctor. she said that she will not give as an RFE. instead, she will put our case on "continuous review" and we just have to wait for the final decision in the mail. what a relief. hopefully all goes well and that my husband gets his green card already.
