  1. Hi everyone

I just want to ask question about getting stamp in CFO. We were leaving to San Francisco on 17th our flight is 12:30 am,I'm already done with my counseling I just had to get my stamp when I have my visa,,,,my question is can I have time if I will get my passport stamp on the 16th? I stay here in Butuan City and were are planning to go in Manila on 16th...

  2. We got there around 5 am on March 26th, people already there long lines our appointment is at 6:15 am

They start checking interview letters they move us to the front of the line

We go in around 6:15 go thru security got to the first window number issue still outside after security check

We drop appointment letter to window 39 wait for number to be call

20 minutes later we got called to window 35 drop off Nbi he ask her in Tagalog where our son was (he was sleep ) ok go seat down wait for your number to be call

20 minutes later window 43 biometrics finger print and wait to be call again for first interview

    First interview (Philippine officer)

    1) Do you have your sons picture

    2) they ask her where and when we met

    3) ask for pictures together

    4) ask me how manny times I visit her

5 ask me for my most recent tax I had both 2011 and 2012 but she only kept the 2012

    6) she ask me for my immigration status

After that she said have a seat you will get call for the American officer interview 20 minutes later

    Second interview (American officer

    1) Race your right hand (please do not answer any questions that I ask her let her answer )

    2) what was the date of your wedding

    3) how often do we talk

I was thinking that he will ask more questions to her but then he ask me some questions

I'm just curious how come you have not become a citizen? Is as very dumb not to do it but I'm now in the process of doing it

He ask me if my son was going to have all 3 nationalities (US,Philippine and Mexican ) I told him yes for sure.

After that he gave my wife a paper for domestic violence and told her what her rights were once in the US wait for your number to be call in window around the corner.

10 minutes later another officer said that your paper work looks in order go to the 2go window for verification of address info.

And we are just waiting for the visa but is holly week here in the Philippines so maybe by April 4th we are schedule to fly on the 17th to San Francisco Ca.

  5. I m so not happy... I called NVC today.. And the CR told me they are working on cases prior to 22 Oct. She rudely told me that for your case the visa number is not available yet. After waiting almost 45 minutes and the machine telling me that NVC takes personal attention for all the calls. The CR on the phone didn't even greeted me, the direct question was Case number please!!

I got the same response when I callled I like they are just reading a screen, I do understand they are busy but a little bit of understanding towards our situation I also know come of the callers are rude and don't have any manners and expect more. I know I work costumer service and it's hard to please everyone .

  6. There is a new fee but it's not related to the visa but to the green card, so you don't have to worry about it right now. Now you have to go ahead and file your petition and pay what you are supposed to, and later down the road, once you had your interview, you need to pay $165 to USCIS so it can issue the green card before you live your home country, but again, you have a long wait ahead of you.

when do you pay the $165?
