1. Aside from updating your citizenship at the SSA and getting a passport, what else needs to be updated? Driver's License?

2. Can I get rid of all my paperwork from K1, ROC, etc.? No need to keep it anymore, correct?

Super easy appointment today. Was informed before the entire test portion that there was an oath on Friday and i could take it then. I agreed to that and was sent back in the waiting room for my Notification to be printed and handed to me in person.

I was also there this morning and was approved! I will be doing my Oath on 5/31/19 as well.

My interview was on April 18th and approved, on April 29 they scheduled my Oath ceremony for May 14 (I did not receive the letter yet but the digital copy was uploaded last night)

During the interview they told me to wait for six weeks in order to get the Oath letter but I've explained that I have an upcoming trip in exactly six weeks (may 24th). at the same time I've contacted USCIS through my USCIS inbox (Ask to an officer option) requesting to schedule at least 10 days before my trip or after my return on june 12 (In order to have time to get an expedited passport) , an Inmigration officer answered me telling that my case was carefully reviewed and forwarded to the Local USCIS office and they will give the answer,

An Inmigration officer from my local office sent me a separate e-mail after 72 hours of my inquiry , telling me that they scheduled my Oath 10 days before my trip,

I highly suggest to reach USCIS through your profile, they will give you an answer in less than 48 hours!! they are amazing!

Thanks for this information! I have my interview on 5/28 and a trip out of the country at the end of June/ early July. I'm worried about timing.

My interview was recently scheduled and due to international travel, I was also wondering how long it takes to get the Oath Scheduled.

There are a few dates listed in San Antonio and Austin. I also read you can email the Western District and ask for the Oath schedules.

Congrats to those who are moving along! My estimated timeline has been removed from my account. It now says " We are taking longer than expected to process your case. You do not need to do anything at this time." Did anyone else have this change?

As you go through the online application, it will prompt you to upload the required evidence needed based on how you answer the questions.

Hi,

I am filling out my N-400 application online. The only evidence it is asking me to submit is a copy of my permanent resident card and a copy of my marriage certificate. I am applying based on the 5-year rule.

Do I need to submit additional evidence? Tax Transcripts? I have the tax transcripts but I'm not sure if I need to submit them or not.

I will be submitting my application shortly based on marriage (3-year). Does the work history and address history need to be filled out for 5 years?

I saw that a few people just filled out 3 years of info and were fine. What have others done?

Our approach has been:

1) if left and came back to the US in less then 24 hrs (ie day trip to Canada) --> was not included in # of trips outside the US --> was not included in # of days outside the US

2) if trip lasted more than 24hrs --> counted in the number of trips outside --> partial days on each end included as full days to calculate # of days outside

That's what the instructions say. I never took any trips that short, and I rounded up on half days at the start or end of a trip because I figured I was also writing down the day I left and returned, so they can probably figure out what that means.

Don't stress that Q too much, unless you've been outside the USA for A LOT of days (like, enough to make them question your residency), it's not going to matter much at the end of the day.

Thanks for the responses! I haven't been out enough for it to be a big deal. Only include time as LPR correct? Or do I include a trip when I had AP?
