I called NVC today and my case has also completed today 8/27. maybe our interviews will be scheduled within a week of each other. can you give me a heads up when you get your interview email? do you know how long it typically takes to get an interview date. the agent i spoke to on the phone wasn't able to give me an approximate time...

also what was the mistake you made on the form?? i am curious.

is it necessary to wait for the IV checklist? i submitted my AOS packet on Monday and the IV packet yesterday (Friday). hopefully i didnt screw anything up.

i130 approved on June 29, 2012 (102 days from NOA1 date of March 19)

i filed a spouse visa i think its called CR1 or IR1 or something. its not a fiance visa. there is a packet of documents that will get sent to my wife right? also will the same package be sent to me as well i am just worried it well get lost in the mail since the mail system in pakistan is not very organized.

I just dont have a lot of faith in the mail system in pakistan. i was there for a week and did not see a mailman delivering any letters. But then again i dont know how things work there. I just dont want any correspondence between immigration and my wife to get lost. I'm sorry i am new to this site so i dont know how things work. so you are still waiting for your husband's approval look...

Thanks for the reply i asked about 6 people but so far you are the only one that has replied. I applied for IR1/CR1 so i guess i am in the same boat as you. I think there is some packet or something that gets mailed to the beneficiary informing them of where to go for fingerprints and where to go for medical and stuff. I am not for sure but that's what i have been told.

Just wondering where does one receive the immigration packet containing medical/fingerprint location/other documents in pakistan i think it is called packet 3 maybe. Is it sent to the beneficiary's address by mail or is it sent to the embassy and has to be picked up by the beneficiary.
