AFTER A LONG WAIT TODAY I WOKE UP AT 5AM AND TRY TRACKING THE VISA ON LINE AND THERE IT WAS.... THEN I WAITED TILL DOMEX OPEN AT 9AM TO CALL AND CONFIRM AND SURE ENOUGH, ITS READY FOR PICK UP!!! IM SO EXCITED NOW, MY FIANCE SHOULD BE HERE THURSDAY!!!

Update my husband just got the call from domex to pick up the visa its ready!!

Nope nothing at all. I was hoping that it in processing because its only been 2 days since my interview and maybe their still working on it :/

I just called and they said it was under administrative proccessing what does that mean?o gosh dont tell me i have to wait again months i wanted him here for the holidays. i see people that had recent approvals receive their visa in 4-6 days

We were approved on Thursday 11-15 how long will it take domex to have it ready for pick up? I want him here for thanksgiving

I have all the copies from all the forms I have submitted, medical exam,banco popular, cedula,passport,police certificate and all my proof of our relationship. Iam missing anything please help!! And give me some notes or suggestions anything to help me thanks in advance

hey for the banco popular just print out the interview letter, cedula, passport and $15. and then for the medical atleast $350(just to be on the safe side) and interview letter, cedula and passport. take all the documents cause they might ask for it during the interview ive seen them ask for it on other review good luck

hey my husband just went and he payed $350 cause he was missing his shots however if you had all ur shots within 6 months all u have to pay is $180.

Hey check by tuesday promise u I'll have a response by then..it happened to me 2 months ago and someone from here told me to call the 2nd day of the month that's when they schedule and I did and it turned out to be right. Call tuesday.. goodluck

Hey, I'm in the same situation. My husband just got layed off his job and I have been paying for everything and today he told me he has to pay 350$ at the medical office and I got soo pissed cause Ive been telling him for months to be prepared financially and I can't understand how he had no $$ saved. I've given up soo much for this relationship and my interview is in about 2 weeks but I feel drained-financial and emotionally!! I love him but is it worth it and everyone is soo negative telling me that he'll just come and leave me I guess within time well know ..

Is it mandatory to go to banco popular and pay $15? The reason why u ask is because my husband went today and they asked him how much should it be and since I told him $15 they took $15..

Thanks stephany. I work at a hospital and their is only 2 of us in the billing department. And I spoke to them and to a lawyer I will send a letter from my job and a motorized letter from myself too stating the circumstances and well see from then on.

hey i called the santo domingo embassy this morning and they told me that my husband would still have to attend with a notirized letter written by me explaining why and that then they will issue us an open date interview. i have 2 months to go down there for the interview but well see on the 15th when he goes cause if thats the case then ill be going down there the following week for the 23rd of november hope all goes well even though they might consider that a red flag but if i go im fired and if im fired how will i support him or my son?

Hey guys I know most people wod be happy that they got their interview day but the day they gave me is a no go. I just asked my co worker if I can take off for November 15th and they said flat out No. I only have 3 months in this job and my co worker is going on vacation that week. How would I go about changing interview day and has anyone experienced this and how long after. My mother advised me to make a certified letter and have my husband attend the interview and see what they say maybe they can reschedule it for the following week. Help please need some advice here!!!
