@GrayL seems like those sms are sent when status being updated on the application which could be different for different ppl.

That is something you want to call USCIS customer service to speak to someone about. But seriously, you should still go to your biometric. I don't think cases get transfer from CSC to VSC. It is the other way around. It could just be a human error.

Mine was also addressed from VSC office though I filed it CSC office.

Congratulations . I think the way you organized your packet also helped you. I am wondering if you also got your biometric appointment letter from VSC? Also did you notice two Application # in the appointment letter?

Can someone please update me I did a walk in Biometrics and suprisinsly the lady and everyone where happy actually they told me the week for my appointment they are booked for over 300 people but today they had only 30 people and they are done. Lucky Me. I want to also share this don't know if you have noticed it or anyone heard uscis is making some changes i was the first one they saw my Bio appointment letter containing 2 application Number so it took them a while to figure out the new system will that help me have no clue but for my appointment i had the entire workers come to see how it was done including the on site manager. Anyway figured i shared so everyone take a look at their appointment letter to see if they are getting the new system of 2 application number or just 1 application number

Mine also had two, I think it supposed to be that way as it did not ring a bell to anyone during my biometrics.

Received my biometrics appt. letter today for 08/22

I am also waiting for my Bio letter, hope USCIS consider it current as I traveled last December.

Hi visajourney members. I am about to remove conditions on my greencard. I know my window will open in Auguat 16th. I have read on visajourney that people get a reminder letter like a month before and I never recieved anything. Should that be a concern? I am already panicing about the whole process.

7/25 NOA letter received

Their processing is faster than AOS time.

My husband heard a radio news that all overseas visa process has stopped now because of their database glitch.

So he guesses that domestic cases might be processed faster than usual.

is there a way to know if case opened without getting NOA mail?

Any one know when USCIS skip bio-metric? I had a trip to India in December 2013, so went through fingerprint etc. would USCIS consider it as current ?

I would be filing for ROC this week. My GC expiring on 10/16. I have collected following docs to prove our bonafied relationship.

· Copy of the passports showing joint trip to India.

· Copy of the joint tax return transcript for 2012 and 2013.

· Copy of joint house rental lease since August 2012.

· Copy of beneficiary designation showing my wife as beneficiary.

· Copy of our health insurance card showing a joint policy.

· Copy of our credit cards showing a joint account.

· Copy of joint checking and saving account at Chase and random statements from last two years.

· Copy of our airline reservations for vacations that we had or planning since 2012.

· Pics from our cultural marriage and reception ceremony which we did in India in December 2012.

· Pics from vacations we enjoyed with family and friends in USA and India.

· Home mortgage pre-qualification letter from Bank issued for our home search.

All the utilities are on my name so no point in sending them. Would it be enough? also my wife did not change her name, would it be a problem?

I have DL , I was asking as its law to carry GC with you all the time but seems like its worth breaking it as getting a new one after loosing it is a real pain.

are you guys planning to carry GC along with you all the time? I am not carrying it instead I am just carrying only EAD combo card because of fear of loosing it.

Did everyone else get a separate letter with their interview notice about arrest records? I've never been arrested or detained so just wondering if it's a form letter?

what are you talking about: 4 months!!? your process was like 10-11 weeks! you should be bragging about it! lol!!

though many of us are in the same times 75 days for interview, and hopfully 80 days to have GC in hand!

Processing wise it was pretty smooth ,but a lot of stories went behind the scene related my Job,company,H1b and my December trip to India for my traditional marriage made me sleepless many nights. well yeah I have bragging right that I was the 1st one to get GC in our group and I am lucky charm for you guys:) (just kidding). I would be really happy to see every one in this group green
