  1. Suggestion: Consider calling the clinic where you obtained the test results and asking them what it means.

For all we care, CA may mean 'Consulado Americano', indicating that the documents inside the envelope must follow a certain format and structure, required by the US Consulate. It is possible that this clinic serves other consulates, so they use their own internal code so they know how to put together the whole enchilada.

Point taken and good observation, i called and they tell me it means " Cita Abierta " wich makes no sense since i dont have an open interview date. But whatever, thanks for taking the time to answer.

  2. I just received the medical results at " Consultorio de visas" this is where they perform the medical examination for people that applied for immigrant visas in Dominican Republic.

Outside the sealed manila folder there are some biographic information that includes the following statement in Spanish :

TIPO DE VISA: CA ( " Visa type: Ca " would be the English equivalent )

My question is; what does CA mean ? my wife is under category IR-1, Since i am a U.S. citizen and we have been married for over 4 years now. So what does CA abbreviate for ?

Please Help, has anyone in the Dominican republic had this on their medical results ? anyone knows what it means ?

  3. When you called NVC what information did you give them to look up your case? Were they able to provide you with your NVC case number and Invoice number? Would love to know! Thanks and CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU!...now let the process speed up! :D

They said that they already have the file but it has not been entered into the system, so no case number yet, i have my fingers crossed hoping to get it soon. I am grateful enough that the file already arrived in just 3 days to nvc. Ive heard so many unfortunate cases lately at vj about files being rerouted somewhere else and taking an eternity to get to NVC.

Thank God all has gone well for now... ( hope the rest goes well too ) :innocent:

  6. Looking at Igor's chart why is April approvals higher than March? Hmmmm

and I am at that dilemma of wanting this process to hurry and get me to NVC but I am also Jobless. Oh my. Lord please bless me indeed.

But don't you love those adjudication dates just getting closer and closer. I am now at July 30th. Lets see what the month of June brings. I think there will be alot of approvals this month. We are a blessed group. I claim it now for us all. Who's with me!!

:innocent: Group Prayer for March filers

  7. Ok, sometimes I think I am on this website too much! LOL BUT I JUST FOUND THIS...

At the top of the page is Immigration Timelines. Igor's list shows all petitions, when they were filed, when the NOA1 was received and when the NOA2 was received. It filters by service center. It appears that Vermont is now processing January and some of February's petitions! It's not much but at least it shows things are moving and getting closer to all of us March filers! :) Right now I will take any little bit of good news.

I am sure everyone but me knew about this (ha ha)...but just in case I thought I would share. :)

Have a great Memorial Weekend all!

Don't worry, I'm here the whole day, and even if we knew about Igor's list its always great to hear from any of you, makes me know I'm not in this crazy phase by myself. lol
