Police Certificates from Multiple Cities in One Country
in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures

Hi all,
We're May 4th NOA1 receivers with an NOA2 of October 29th and a now-scheduled interview for December 4th - finally the wait is almost over!
My question is about police certificates. My fiance, who is from Guinea, and I met in Mali (where he lived for more than 12 months and already has a police certificate proving no record along with a proof of residency). While he is from Conakry, Guinea, he spent more than six months in both Labe and Dalaba (both in Guinea) after the age of 16 where he completed high school and university (respectively). The K-1 visa instructions indicate that you need a police certificate from every city you've lived in for more than six months even if it's in the same country but my fiance says that the Ministry of Justice in Conakry is the only place that authorizes such a document.
Does anyone have experience with this? I appreciate your help!
